End housing poverty
we are looking forward to being established in order to deliver Low cost Eco friendly and sustainable affordable housing solutions for vulnerable and low to moderate income people in Africa who are unable to secure long-term affordable housing in the market.
We want to provide end-to-end affordable housing development and a long-term housing and tenancy management operation.
This will include engagement with communities where there is housing need, project conception, securing finance, land acquisition, project design and construction supervision, and long term rental management of housing for low to moderate income people.
Building affordable and low cost homes is a key element of what we are looking forward to doing, but we do a whole lot more! We put community needs at the heart of every project. We don’t want to just build houses, we also want to build and develop communities.
Uganda is experiencing a high rate of urbanisation exceeding 6% per annum.
70% of the urban population lives in slums. The urban growth rates together with an urban housing deficit, large informal sector, and very limited access to housing finance create an enormous challenge for urban and state authorities to address the housing problems.
The housing deficit is further compounded by the propensity of the private sector and National Housing and Construction Company Ltd (NHCCL) to build houses for only the middle- and high-income-earning clients leaving out the low income earners.
We want to be keen on utilizing Environment Friendly, Low-Cost and Sustainable Technologies to provide affordable Housing to lower income groups in rural, semi - urban and urban locations within Africa. However, Our housing solution will ensure that tenants can enjoy stable lives, engage in meaningful employment and still retain sufficient disposable income to maintain a living.
We are looking forward to delivering our Low cost Eco friendly and sustainable affordable housing solutions to vulnerable and low to moderate income people in Africa who are unable to secure long-term affordable housing in the market. Millions of people in urban areas live in over crowded housing with poor quality of water along with poor sanitation.
With innovative and practical home design at a low-cost, our Solution looks at self-sustainability in a way that one can decide to live ‘off the grid’... providing yourself with your own food, power, water, sewage treatment, etc. Our hous- ing solution is environmentally friendly; materials and technologies used to develop the houses and sustainable in a manner that encourages the use of self- generated power, water, food growing (backyard gardening) and waste management techniques such as composting. We also understand that the housing market is vast and certain segments of the market remain un-catered for.

Using years of experience, we create solutions to the severe housing shortage and the affordable housing crisis in Africa and we are the only socially driven private sector business developing and implementing affordable housing solutions for ordinary, hard-working Africans.
Apparently we aren’t working with any organization, right now we are still proactively promoting innovation in our business model to support, enable and encourage private sector, institutional and philanthropic investment.
Prospective project partners must demonstrate environmental, social, governance and ethical con- siderations.

We would like to partner with NGOs like UNICEF, World Health Organization (WHO), Real estate and urban planning organizations by looking for funding mechanisms to build our prototype into a viable business.
It is necessary for our solution to be successful because our product supports prosperity for the Ownership community and general mobility for the society in terms of living arrangements.
The prize would be used to invest in Development costs of the units in the identified communities.
I believe that with careful planning and appropriate resources our team can revolutionize slums as long as the development is geared towards an entire neighborhood rather than in an isolated corner.
