Convening our community

Each year we host two flagship events that serve as the kick off and capstone moments of our annual Global Challenge cycle.

From New York City in the fall, amidst the energy of Climate Week and the UN General Assembly, to Cambridge in the spring, hosted on MIT’s prestigious campus—Solve Challenge Finals and Solve at MIT convene our community, introduce the newest and boldest tech-based solutions, connect innovators with funding to scale, invoke meaningful discussion, and celebrate progress.

With every passing year, we’re bringing more voices and ideas to the problem-solving table.

Become an event sponsor

Sponsor key in-person moments within Solve’s Global Challenge innovation cycle. Solve Challenge Finals in NYC kicks off each cohort and nine months of support, while Solve at MIT in Cambridge serves as a capstone to the program and moment to celebrate successes and support scale. Each flagship event brings together cross-sector global leaders and innovator cohorts to forge connections, address pressing social challenges, and showcase the impactful outcomes of Solve’s supported innovators.

Nominate a speaker

Speakers at our events have included The Right Honorable Justin Trudeau, former Canadian Prime Minister; Eric S. Yuan, Founder and CEO, Zoom; will.i.am, Creative Innovator and Tech Entrepreneur; and Yuval Noah Harari, Historian, Bestselling Author, and Co-Founder, Sapienship. If you know of a potential speaker (or are one yourself!) we welcome you to apply and we’ll consider each nomination based on programming alignment.

I haven’t been to an event like this in years (decades) where I have felt more welcomed and inspired by both your team, your advocates, and by the Solvers themselves. I’ve always believed that nurturing a community of members with the same shared values is the key to overcoming any adversity. It was immediately apparent that this community is going to substantially impact the pressing global challenges that we face today.”
