Our technology: The particle-based in-situ remediation. We inject customised suspensions from patented nano- and microparticles into contaminated aquifers. The particles react with the pollutants on-site, deep in the ground, and thereby degrade them.

In the 21st century, the availability of clean water is a global
challenge. We have a global population of close to 9 billion people, each in need of food, and water. Overexploitation, erosion, global warming, and contamination put a further stress on our most vital reseource - clean water.
Without clean water, there is no irrigation, no sustainable settlements, no industry.
With particle-based in situ remediation, Intrapore is making a
contribution towards worldwide access to clean water and healthy soil.
Even when sites are difficult to access, pollutants are complex and all
the conventional technologies fail, our method of remediation works.
We improve the health of all people living in communities affected by contaminated groundwater. There can be cities, villages, or regions, in developed or developing countries.
With the injection of our patented NMP, we achieve an exact and sustainable treatment of the contaminated aquifer. We select the required intrarem® nano- and microparticles (NMP) and configure them individually for the particular site. For this purpose, we have more than 20 different nano- and microparticles at our disposal, which are combined into 5 processes:

reductive reagents, or as adsorption, enrichment, or redox-active
precipitants. The elimination or immobilisation of the pollutants is the
final goal.

Safe and sustainable: the redox stoichiometric calculation of the injection quantities via the pollutant content yields a long-lasting depot effect.

Minimally invasive: application also possible under built-on and used terrain; the costs of excavating the soil or the plant-intensive extraction of water are eliminated.
