Organic chonta's peel fertilizer reinforced with mycorrhiza

Fresh fruits and vegetables are hard to find for the common citizen, so one of the most popular choices are urban gardens, so we can get fresh and safe products right in the comfort of our own house. Even though, urban pollution is a big problem in this day and age, weakening the plants and making them useless.

Our solution is to create a fertilizer made of chonta's peel, reinforced with mycorrhiza to protect the plants and avoiding the use of chemical fertilizers.

Our solution could, in a first instance, decrese the concentration of carbon dioxide in the cities, by allowing the plants transform it to oxygen. A second benefit would be the use of chonta's peel, which has no use nowadays. And finally, a healthier diet for the regular citizen.

We are working to solve the problems of urban pollution, lack of of use of organic waste and the need of healthier products. The amount of people affected and benefited by this is approximately 750000 people, from the Ecuadorian amazon.

The population we are serving is the habitants of the Ecuadorian amazon, nearly 750000 people who need a way of using chonta's peel (a vey common waste there) to create an organic fertilizer so plants can resist the though environment of the cities.

Our solution has never been made before, chonta's peel is a very common waste here in Ecuador, so using it to create a fertilizer is a great way to take advantage of it.

On the other hand mycorrhiza are underappreciated and needs to be more studied and tested, which we are using in our solution to protect plants and make them stronger.

The core technology we use is manufacture, by taking the chonta's peel and making compost from it, mixing it with mycorrhiza.

We expect our solution to make an impact in addressing the problem, becouse we are using chonta's peel, which is considered a waste, to create a fertilizer that helps plants to be stronger and resistant.

Finally, we think is going to address the problems, becouse a great ammount of this waste is thrown away and it's not reused in any way. And there's the everlasting need of healthier products.

By this day wer're serving 10 people with our solution. In one year we expect to serve 750000 people approximately. And in five years we expect to help 3 million people with our solution.

In one year we will transform the lives of 750000 by making their lives healthier.

In five years we will keep our work to make the lives of millions better by continue on growing-

We lack the money and resources to continue our investigation. And the cultural barrier from the people we want to serve.

We plan to get the resources we need, by looking for sponsorship of a large organization. And the cultural barrier by creating a eco-awareness.

We are a team five people with te goal of changing the world.

Becouse we have a positive attitude and we want to make a change in the world. We are the best-placed team becouse we have an extensive knowledge in all the areas needed to make it.

We are partnering with the "Universidad Tecnica de Ambato", our alma mater.

In the start we would provide our product to farmers and citizens who have urban gardens, so they can test them.

We want to create a product that's affordable for everyone and can be used in a every day basis.

Our path would be to keep growing and as it gets more advanced and better, also increase the price of it.

We are applying to Solve, becouse we aim to get the resources we need to make our product a reality, and so help a lot of people who needs it.

We'd like to parter with BioPlus, so we can create a better product, and have a trusted brand that guarantees a good product to all our customers.

We would use the money to get better technology, so we can create a high quality product. And start to develop it at big scale.
