Atlantis

Creation of a submerged housing complex to restrict the contamination of arboviruses and infectious diseases by air, reduce the absorption of pollution  global warming with the cultivation of algae to produce electricity.

Nowadays, the urbanization of the megalopolises and the great pollution that devastates them has been generating several problems for human health, with pollution affecting mainly the neural system and potentializing with stress and other mental illness caused by the urban dynamics of the megalopolis. organizations.

I intend to solve these problems with a unique architecture and urbanism that prioritize the quality of life, consequently reducing mental illnesses. With submersion there will also be a considerable decrease in the absorption of pollution, being maximized with a barrier of algae that will be installed in the extension of the city and that also would have been used for the creation of biodiesel. Also, due to submersion, natural disasters with hurricanes and tsunamis will be almost absent, as will the arboviruses because the air will be constantly filtered.
Therefore, the Atlantis project would be beneficial globally because life expectancy would increase because: the major diseases of the 21st century, mental illnesses, would decrease considerably and the destruction by natural causes would decrease due to the submersion of the city. In addition, with global implementation the impacts of global warming would be minimal, as algae in cities would absorb much of CO2.

 1st For inhabitants of big cities:Atlantis offers a structural model focused on the quality of life, unlike the big cities.

2st decrease warming global:With the use of algae species for the composition of the energy matrix, the CO2 level in the oceans will decrease.

3st production of electricity:Through its large energy matrix, Atlanta can also serve as an energy producer for coastal areas.

4st the impossibility of natural catastrophes:For Atlanta to be submerged, it would be unpunished for hurricanes and tsunamis.

Creation of a submerged housing complex on the oceanic coast, where inhabitants suffered less contact with city pollution, and the spread of arboviruses and other diseases spread through the air would be extinguished, as the air would be filtered, increasing the life expectancy of the inhabitants, both  in Atlantis and in coastal cities because there will be plenty of energy. Furthermore, the energy matrix of Atlantis will be completely sustainable, being the main source of energy from algae, thus helping to filter CO2 from the oceans.

Because the Atlantis project is a new model of city that does not pollute and focuses on the health of the population, unlike traditional cities that present a model focused on industrial production and without sustainability.

Atlantis is created with a new concept that prioritizes quality of life and increased productivity through new technologies for the city. The Architecture of Atlantis is the main technological innovation, since it consists of an architecture that, unlike the style of cities and traditional houses, benefits all the senses of the body. Another important technological concept for the city is its submergence in the ocean, in which Atlantis is on the oceanic coast in order to reduce the absorption of pollution of the city's residents. In addition, the energy matrix of the city will be completely sustainable, so that it uses wave power plants, transforming hydrogen from water into energy and using algae, which will decrease the acidity of the oceans, for the production of biodiesel.

The Atlantis project presents a new way of living, as it presents a new architectural style, which contemplates the 5 senses of the body. In addition, the city submerged in the ocean, which removes the contact of the inhabitants with the air, reducing consequently the contact with pollution and arboviroses, increasing the quality of life. In addition, the energy matrix of Atlantis will consist of: biodiesel from algae, which will decrease the acidity of the oceans and global warming and wave power plants.

The project is not yet an idea and therefore has no influence. But I expect to have a functional prototype in 1 year, in 5 already are 10 minutes in Atlantis, being most of the autonomous of big cities.

The next 5 years are already intended to have been built at Atlantis, as the project is the design and construction necessary to build other cities with the same model around the world, which will directly impact the Life of many persons, to live in Atlantis, and millions of people indirectly, through energy production to the coastal zones, increase urban dwellers by reducing overcrowding and increasing urban mobility. In addition, with an enlargement of Atlantis the number of CO2 in the next one will diminish, because there is an amplification of the energetic matrix, mainly composed by algae.

The main barrier for next year is the lack of funding in technological development, and a new technology is needed to reconcile civil-marine engineering with Atlantis's unique architecture.

For the next five years, the main barrier will be cultural, because there will be a lack of acceptance by society in the new oceanic lifestyle, and the residents need adaptation to the dynamics of the city.

I hope to achieve a functional prototype with the help of MIT through Solve, making the project gain noticeability and increase investment. And I hope to overcome the cultural barrier by investing in the dynamics of the city and positive practices that expand the good side of living in Atlantis, showing the benefits of the city.

Honestly our team is not the best prepared for the challenge, just like parents when they have their first child, they are not the best parents in the world, but they will do whatever it takes to see the child develop, and that makes them  the best parents in the world. Just like the ones that, even though they are not yet ready to execute the project, we will do the best for it to develop.

The business model will be a catalog of houses and buildings, where an architectural model will be created that associates buyers of an Atlantis structure. The main publics became medium and large people, mainly the self-employed.
