National Ambulance Service
Connecting to an emergency transport is anytime anywhere safely fast is big hustle. The National Ambulance Service (NAS), an on-demand emergency services response, a component of an all-in-one app, Ogaget has been developed to assist with fastest access to emergency medical transport and immediate care that aligns with the budget of a patient. This platform is intended to address the current state of inaccessibility to emergency medical care due to lack of coordination, low capacity, unprofessionalism and inadequate technical infrastructure in most African emerging countries by enabling connection between providers and seekers.
The high emergency mortality and morbidity rates and its associated costs are not only a socio-economic burden for many African countries but a bottleneck to realization of Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2063. Reducing the high emergency mortality and accident related deaths is a call Africans innovators must respond to. This has been attributed to the absence of a formal Emergency Medical Service system (EMS).The National Ambulance Service (NAS), an on-demand emergency services response, a component of an all-in-one app, Ogaget has been developed to assist with fastest access to emergency medical transport and immediate care that aligns with the budget of a patient. To get linkage to founders for advise, acceleration support, marketing support, incubation support and fundraising support. We'll need to partner with petrol stations for fuel discounts, telcos for data bundles, banks to finance Ambulance fleets, Police and Ministry of Health for capacity building and endorsement. We're also looking at working with insurance companies to foot the cost of emergency transport. We would like to get government support in financing cost of ambulance for the poor. Getting all these anticipated stakeholders on board requires professional advise.
