In Manaus, the capital in the heart of the Amazon, 72,000 tons of garbage are generated per month and only 3% of that is recycled.

With this we want to connect the garbage with recycling cooperatives.

We will alleviate the problem of litter in the oceans, in addition to generating jobs for many people and leading a new industry within sustainability

In Manaus, the capital in the heart of the Amazon, 72,000 tons of garbage are generated per month and only 3% of that is recycled. In addition, Brazil has a National Solid Waste Policy, which states that it is the duty of companies and people to dispose of their waste correctly, however, this law is not respected in the city and the consequences are diseases, contaminated water and bad urban infrastructure.
There are around 4975 companies in Amazonas and no guarantee that they obey the law and 17 recycling associations that have losses due to the reduced amount of recyclable waste that arrives for treatment.

Everyone who produces garbage and everyone who lives working with garbage

We aim to develop a digital platform with data analysis to identify the type and amount of waste generated to facilitate their transport from the companies to the recycling cooperatives by an on-demand system in order to reduce costs and collect only when necessary. This platform will also be the communication environment between us, partners and customers. In addition, with the internet technology of things, we aim to adapt rubbish bins with sensors to identify the largest waste generation points in order to take more effective measures for each area, as well as reconnaissance technology to check the proper separation of recyclable waste in their categories
