light and affordable individual portable biogas plant
Our synergistic solution provides an improvement of local conditions on 4 levels :
Biogas instead of firewood to prevent deforestation and indoor air pollution
Toilet waste collection and treatment in partner with worldwide leading sanitation association
Rich organic fertiliser through the digestion of organic matter in our biogas plant
Satellite imagery based service to help farmers understanding their crop needs
Poworganic adventure started in Bangladesh in 2017, from the need of a country whose level of pollution and sanitation was dramatically affecting its inhabitants and the environment. We’ve expanded our resources to Europe and today we are an international team. We’re committed to improve the health of those 3 billion people that don’t have access to a healthy energy supply nor to basic sanitation facilities.
About 50% of people, in almost every developing country, depends on burning wood, dung and crop residue for domestic energy, which generates high level of indoor air pollution every day. It corresponds to 3 billion of peoples
undergoing potential threats from indoor air pollution. The domestic smoke is responsible for the death of almost 2 million children under the age of give, for lung cancer in two-thirds of non-smoking women, and for 4 % of the global diseases. But the negative effects are not limited to the households. Excessive usage of wood implies deforestation, which leads to emission of greenhouse gases that finally results in climate change.
Moreover, 2.4 billion people live without access to toilets mostly due to expensive infrastructure costs. This leads to pollution of the environment and pathogenesis through open air defecation.
We also observed that most sub-saharan soils are poor and lack of nutrients and organic material. There’s a need of (in)organic fertiliser but farmers can’t afford these products due to high prices and lack of knowledge.
To tackle these three problems we developed a circular micro-credit
model which uses satellite imagery to give farmers instructions on how
to apply the fertiliser.

Satellite imagery based service to help farmers understanding their crop needs
- Increase production of renewable and recyclable raw materials for products and packaging
- Pilot
- New application of an existing technology
Our solution is properly innovative in the sense that we combine clean easy to produce energy along with complex satellite imagery technology to provide a new era of improved service for rural population in deveoping countries.
Our light, easy to install and affordable biogas plant specially designed to reach a perfect practicality/performance ration, produce enough biogas to provide 4 hours of cooking gas per day per family.
Along with clean fuel, we also provide a rich organic fertilizer through the digestion of organic waste within the biogas plant.
For farmers to improve their yield we use satellite imagery based mapping to help them to better understand their crop then optimize their organic fertilizer intake.
