In the recent decades, overpopulation contributed to making the global challenges more complicated, the global energy crisis is one of the major challenges facing the Earth, one of the crisis’s aspects is the fossil fuel dependence and the world’s disability to use alternatives for various reasons. The project’s main idea is energy generation from living plants, the scientific evidence behind this technology depends on the soil’s eubacteria which feed on the excess glucose produced by plants after breaking down the bonds between its particles into more suitable compounds for the bacteria to consume. Plants use the photosynthesis process for nutrition as well as cellular respiration to grow using glucose molecules which are the plants’ building blocks. About 50% of the produced glucose every cycle goes to the soil as plant wastes, which the bacteria use to feed on. The idea remained theoretical because it wasn’t commercial as the system had a low efficiency and high water consumption

The most important stage in the scientific method of projects is presentation. Communicating your idea effectively is the best way you can bring it to life.
Throughout project exhibitions we have tried several ways to reach out to people. Firstly, small handmade souvenirs were made as a giveaway for guests to remind them of the initiative.
Secondly, we tried engaging the audience within the presentation by solving drawing, and puzzles and patterns, which drew their attention.
Thirdly, with some help we added a short animation film to make the presentation more interesting. Visual aids are infallible in communicating ideas.
Finally, storytelling was our best strike as it drew more audience to our booth. Information about the project was gathered in a simple language story that appeals to all types of people.
To conclude, souvenirs, short films, engaging the audience and storytelling were our ways to make the initiative more relatable.
