Stop the plastic pollution
The Plastic Tide is growing by 8 million metric tonnes a year. If nothing is done, it is estimated that this figure will rise to 80 million metric tonnes a year by 2025. Therefore, we want to change the culture of single-use plastics. We want to first replace the use of plastic in restaurant and supermarket with nuts shells and leaf.
The Plastic Tide is growing by 8 million metric tonnes a year. The figure is estimated to rise to 60 tons per minute by 2050 if today's plastic use and lack of adequate waste management continues. The plastic creates big problems for wildlife and for humans. Birds, turtles and other ocean creatures become ensnared in carrier bags, stuck in abandoned fishing gear and die with their bellies full of plastics. The plastic enters the food chain and the food we eat, and has been found in pretty much all species of fish examined, along with mussels and snow crabs. This is probably just the beginning. The plastic problem is enormous, but it can be solved – and it is urgent that we take steps now to do so.
All of the human beings will directly improve because the plastic pollution are greatly affecting our air quality and Toxic chemicals leach out of plastic and are found in the blood and tissue of nearly all of us. Exposure to them is linked to cancers, birth defects, impaired immunity, endocrine disruption and other ailments. Also, wildlife become entangled in plastic, they eat it or mistake it for food and feed it to their young, and it is found littered in even extremely remote areas of the Earth. In our oceans alone, plastic debris outweighs zooplankton by a ratio of 36-to-1.Obviously, as we replace the plastic container with recyclable materials , all the damage could at least slow down or not get worse. We are also planning to work on persuading the government to take action to better manage existing plastic resources and aim for zero plastic waste in the future.
We will first understand the whole process of making plastics and see how they cooperate with the retailers, super market and restaurant. Secondly, replace those plastic container step by step. We are still in the process of designing the new materials that can replace plastic, but the material is basically made with nuts shells and leafs.
