Front-liners are costing businesses $7.947 trillion lost annually due to poor customer service, turnover/absenteeism and failed digital transformations. This loss is growing automation exponentially as more industries are becoming the tech industry.
Ironically, MacKinsey & Co. highlighted in Race in the Workplace: The Frontline Experience that 70% of front-liners desire to move up the career ladder, but only 4% ever do. Front-liners need career coaching and tech skills as institutions are becoming more automated. Institutions, shy to invest large sums into front-liner development, need a cost-effective scalable tool to develop front-liners, especially as Artificial Intelligence (AI) is eliminating data-heavy professional jobs, leaving front-liners to complete the work with AI tools.
Front-liners must have an algorithmic thinking mindset to utilize AI tools and a basic understanding of computer code. Computer code is step-by-step instructions to a computer to perform a task. Video gamers have thousands and thousands of hours of following step-by-step processes. Automation Workz was built on the assertion that the ability to build an Algorithm or code a computer can be measured via a puzzle maze video game rather than traditional Algebra.
Many tech training programs, which lead to higher-paying jobs, require Algebra competency to illustrate problem-solving skills. Many front-liners have never had Algebra in high school. Approximately 69% struggle to master it in post-secondary, thus they do not enter nor complete tech career training, community college or university. Without a post-secondary credential, front-liners are not qualified to receive a promotion into a career utilizing tech.
Life Culture Audit, soon to be rebranded as SenseiiWyze, is a tech skill coaching mobile app to discover and motivate front-liners to pursue emerging tech career training .
The Life Culture Audit has 3 features – vision board, Senseii Games, a puzzle maze game, Big 5 OCEAN personality type test. Feature #1 is an one-page vision board where users add goals and then selects a photo within the app to illustrate goals. Each goal photo can be rearranged, enlarged, or reduced on the one-page board. Users can make a screenshot of vision board for their phone screen saver to visualize and attract goals they have set. Feature #2 is a puzzle maze game, Senseii Games transforms directional block configurations, users combine to move a robot from the start to the end of a puzzle maze, into JavaScript code. App users walk away confident they can code and thus can complete tech training to achieve a career to implement their vision.
Feature #2 is the Big 5 OCEAN personality type test that assesses users Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism traits to build a profile of the best careers for their personality.
Life Culture Audit will serve workforce development agencies, corporations, and foundations, who pay for training and employee benefit services for individuals. Many Front-liners work manual jobs and often are not exposed to coding or business technology within their jobs, meaning they rarely have the opportunity to learn the skill. Users learn the mindset of building an algorithm so they can be prepared to enter middle-skilled tech training programs that have higher pay.
Automation Workz is led Ida Byrd-Hill, who utilized a VISION BOARD to stay sane and on track through her negative life circumstances to achieve her goals.
Negative circumstances:
She lived in poverty in a Flint Housing Project, at ages 15-17, after parents’ divorce.
She got expelled from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor due to a .500 GPA yet graduated in 1989 with a BA in economics and an MBA.
She struggled through college financially but graduated with $10000 in cash.
She lost two-thirds of yearly revenue in 2 weeks when Auto supplier client declared bankruptcy.
She lost $2.159 million during the pandemic.
She cancelled a $10 million venture debt for post-secondary Income Share Agreement funding arrangement.
She grieved her daughter’s death in 2014 while planning during her greatest event at North American Auto Show.
Her goal was to leave poverty and live in a luxury house, drive a luxury car, and live a luxury lifestyle while preparing her children to do the same in the future. She has lived a great carefree life, owning several homes, employing a maid/ nanny, socializing at the yacht club, sent twins to great summer camps, paid for twins college, exposed twins to hobbies of tennis, sail boating, archery, horseback riding and instilled their love for travel around the world.
Automation Workz has utilized Life Culture Audit app, amongst learners 25-60 years of age as an admissions tool for workforce development tech certification school programs. The past 3 years, Automation Workz tech training completion rates have increased to 75% from 7.93% with an average learner annual graduating salary at $67,250. The highest graduate is earning $166,000 with 30% of alumni earning over $80,000. Automation Workz landed on the 2022 and 2023 Intelligent.com list of the Top 10 cybersecurity boot camps in the USA

Higher ed institutions and corporations have limited the trajectory of front-liners into tech careers based on their lack of Algebra proficiency. Up until 2005-2007 when graduation requirements included Algebra and Geometry for ALL students, only 20% of high schoolers, on the college prep track, were enrolled in an Algebra class, meaning the remaining 80% of students, now 32 years and older, struggle with Algebra as they did not have basic instruction.
The Life Culture Audit utilizes a puzzle maze video game, a vision board, and a personality type exam to change a front-liner’s mindset of their life potential. Once they view their game performance and discover they have applied logic, applied Algebra, and applied geometry skills they have been able to leapfrog into middle-skilled tech careers they were once deemed not suitable for tech careers as they have low math proficiency,
The magic is the simple puzzle maze video game where each successful level states, “Congratulations, You created JavaScript code. Go to <> for code. Play the next level.” When they view their code they are excited to keep playing, developing self-confidence they can be successful in tech. According to the Entertainment Software Association, in 2023, 65% of Americans play video games, equating to about 212.6 million weekly players. A simple puzzle maze video game can eliminate a front-liners fear of math and institutions fear front-liners have no problem-solving skills.
Our concept has been validated by The Department of Defense (DoD), who has been utilizing video games to attract and train recruits, matriculating from the most economically disadvantaged communities since 1941. Automation Workz has packaged their concept of a DoD bootcamp into a tech skill coaching app.
Our impact goals are:

- Movement of front-liners into higher-paying careers. Progress is measured by the increase of salaries of individuals utilizing app.
- Reduction of poverty within regions where app is being utilized. Progress is measured by the reduction of poverty rates within regions where app is being utilized.
When front-liners discover they have tech problem-solving abilities and can visualize a more affluent life vision, they will develop the mindset to complete tech career education and then secure a higher-paying tech job to break out of poverty and into wealth. Upon the acquisition of a high-paying tech job, adult learners will purchase and maintain homes for their families. Retail and businesses will move into their neighborhoods. Children would attend school, able to master standardized exams to matriculate to post-secondary training to secure a high-paying career. Children will repeat the upward economic cycle as adults and for the next 10 generations.
