Human trafficking is a serious problem affecting millions of people worldwide. Individuals are subjected to forced labor, sexual exploitation, and other forms of exploitation. IMYEN uses technology to detect human trafficking, provide support to victims and contribute to solving this problem. The scale of the problem is huge; Approximately 40 million people worldwide live in conditions of modern slavery.
IMYEN is a platform that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect human trafficking and provide support to victims. The system identifies potential victims through big data and social media analysis. Users can report suspicious situations anonymously. The platform offers safe shelter, psychological support and legal aid to victims
IMYEN attaches great importance to the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence. The identities of victims and whistleblowers are protected through the implementation of confidentiality and security protocols. Artificial intelligence systems operate without discrimination based on race, gender or other personal characteristics. Possible risks are minimized through regular inspections and risk assessments.
IMYEN targets victims of human trafficking, potential victims and society in general. Thanks to the platform, victims are directed to safe places and necessary support is received. By increasing awareness throughout society, we contribute to the fight against human trafficking.
As BAT Club, we have experience in medical information and social awareness. The professionals on our team are experts trained in providing support to victims of human trafficking. Our close relationships with the community ensure that the solution is implemented effectively.
- Strengthening the ecosystem of providers by enhancing efficiencies in communication, data collection and sharing, and coordination

- Prototype
IMYEN is at the prototype stage and is being tested with pilot studies. Initial feedback is positive, and development efforts are continuing to make the system reach large audiences.
One of the biggest obstacles we face is a lack of financial resources. By providing the necessary funding and technical support, MIT Solve can enable IMYEN to reach larger audiences and increase its impact. We also hope to take our project further with global collaborations and mentoring opportunities.
- Financial (e.g. accounting practices, pitching to investors)
- Public Relations (e.g. branding/marketing strategy, social and global media)
- Technology (e.g. software or hardware, web development/design)
Our solution, IMYEN, combines artificial intelligence and big data analysis, offering a new and effective approach to combating human trafficking. Given the complexity and secrecy of human trafficking, traditional methods are often inadequate. IMYEN's innovation lies in its ability to detect suspicious activity by combining different data sources (social media, classifieds, e-commerce sites, etc.). This can have far-reaching positive effects because:
Comprehensive Data Analysis: IMYEN detects early warning signals of human trafficking by analyzing information from various data sources.
Proactive Prevention: Algorithms detect potential risks, providing authorities and relevant organizations with the opportunity to intervene early.
Broader Scope: IMYEN promotes international collaborations and combats cross-border human trafficking using global data resources.
Market Shift: This technology could set new standards in the fight against human trafficking and encourage other organizations in the industry to develop similar innovative solutions.
The IMYEN theory of change is to provide effective intervention using a data-driven approach to detect and prevent human trafficking. Here's a simple explanation of what impact we expect this to have:
Activities: IMYEN collects and analyzes data from various digital platforms using big data analysis and artificial intelligence algorithms.
Instant Outputs: Detects suspicious activities and behaviors and reports them to the authorities.
Long-Term Results: Thanks to early detection and intervention, human trafficking cases decrease, the rescue of victims is accelerated, and awareness about human trafficking increases.
This theory of change offers a more effective and efficient way to combat human trafficking by using the power of data analysis and artificial intelligence technologies.
Our impact goals are:
Short Term Goals:
Increasing the detection rate of suspected human trafficking activities.
Strengthening cooperation with local and international law enforcement agencies.
Medium Term Goals:
Reducing the number of identified human trafficking cases.
Expanding human trafficking awareness programs.
Long Term Goals:
Reducing human trafficking on a global scale.
Increasing access to support and rehabilitation services for victims of human trafficking.
The indicators we use to measure our progress are:
Suspicious Activities Detected: The number of suspicious traffic transactions detected by the algorithms.
Response Rate: Percentage of cases reported to authorities and responded to.
Awareness Programs: Number of people participating in training and awareness programs.
Victim Rescue: Number of trafficking victims rescued and supported.
IMYEN offers an effective solution to combat human trafficking using a variety of advanced technologies:
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Uses advanced algorithms to detect suspicious activity related to human trafficking.
Big Data Analysis: Collects and analyzes large amounts of data from different data sources such as social media, advertising sites, e-commerce platforms.
Natural Language Processing (NLP): Identify suspicious behavior and patterns by analyzing text data.
Image and Audio Analysis: Detects clues regarding human trafficking activities by analyzing video and audio data.
Cloud Computing: Uses cloud technologies to increase data storage and processing capacities.
