Collectively forging the best ideas to save the world
- Pre-Seed
1. SolveSpark will not only help people share thoughts and ideas, but will ultimately help them solve tough challenges within their communities. SolveSpark will be a collaborative "crowd-solving" platform where anyone can post problems, ideas, and insights. It will guide communities through the problem-solving process to help develop bullet-proof solutions.
Billions around the world are powerless, corruption is rampant, and progress is crawling.
Social media continues to sweep the globe, but we still don’t have an effective way to share our thoughts in a productive manner that results in real, positive change.
We need a platform where we can safely share our thoughts and begin to improve situations for ourselves and those around us; where we can develop our ideas into robust solutions to act upon. Empowering those who are attune to the harsh realities will help provide visibility, gain the support needed to make progress, and crowd out corruption.
The world doesn't need another "promising" solution dreamt up by a few experts.
We need the absolute best solutions that humanity could possibly muster.
We have 7 billion brilliant people on this planet; let’s start engaging from ground up. Diversity in thought and perspective will help us build the strongest solutions.
With so many disparate initiatives attempting to solve the same handful of problems, we need to focus our support to build stronger initiatives. Using one centralized platform would enable people to collaborate, explore all alternatives to rank against criteria, tailor the best solutions, and compose a comprehensive global strategy.
We hope to help people share their stories and foster understanding in the problem-solving process. The first step of problem-solving is to identify the problem, then the stakeholders, then to understand the stakeholders before identifying requirements and looking at solutions.
Once we shine a light on the challenges, others will want to help.
Once you engage people to make a positive change, it will help them develop a positive outlook and drive them to make positive changes.
We hope that this culture of positivity spreads throughout the world and people find that they are no longer helpless.

I have not yet seen a large-scale platform oriented towards problem-solving. There are many idea sites out there, but they neglect the critical first step of defining the problem and talking to stakeholders. How do we know that an idea is the best solution if we can't measure it against a set of criteria gathered from our stakeholders?
SolveSpark seeks to give everyone a voice and to empower them to spark positive change within their communities.
They will need to access it through the Internet or an offline version that could be later uploaded to the Internet. Thankfully, Internet access is still spreading across the globe. More and more countries are using cell phones.

Currently, we are self-funded. We are open to investors and have been applying to incubators so we do not need full-time jobs to support ourselves while we launch SolveSpark. In the future, we hope to offer portals/storefronts for organizations to have a profile page to interface with the public and advertise their causes. Organizations wishing to have this feature would pay a monthly subscription fee.
Currently, we are working full-time jobs so are limited with time and money constraints.
