Our mission at Ekopages is to provide sustainability and climate education to children and individuals in Nigeria by providing affordable and accessible Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) materials such as books, courses, quizzes, short stories and games.
Children stand at risk the most when it comes to climate change and we seek to educate them to take climate action and be champions of the planet and the environment.
Ekopages operates on 4 pillars:
1. An e-learning platform for children and educators to access free and affordable ESD learning resources.
2. A community development program tagged The SDG Literacy Drive, where we educate children in marginalized communities about the SDGs through literature.
3. We push for the adoption of ESD in the learning curriculum of the Nigerian child. We have 3 of our books on it already.
4. We provide other ESD content creators a platform to showcase their works.
