Our co-founder Mary is an English teacher with a Bachelors of Education from Makerere University and a veteran of the Ugandan school system. She grew up in a rural region with few resources. Her childhood experiences have shaped MindCraft Assess' mission. She is an experienced curriculum designer who loves creating learning experiences full of educational games that demonstrate difficult topics in a student-friendly way.
Joseph Mulabbi leads the team as the CEO having been at the helm of Faceyourbook mobile apps and bringing onboard nearly 9 years of experience as a trained educator as well as a hardcore techie. His passion for people and technology makes him oversee ongoing business operations within the company. He is the CEO at MindCraft Assess with a wealth of experience in Project and Product Management.
John Matt brings significant experience as an AI and full stack developer having built AI-powered products, Blockchain Apps and various web and mobile apps qualifying him as a strong CTO to lead the technical future of MindCraft Assess.
The three founders have worked on successful EdTech projects in the past and have the experience and capabilities to drive the product to success. Working on MindCraft Assess was born out of the need to make quality education easily accessible, affordable and available to every African child - a mission which is a growing success during this pandemic. Our fast-growing traction and daily active users since inception is proof in itself that EdTech in Africa has come to stay."
Suzan our Innovations Coordinator and Shakillah our School Project Lead Derick are youth innovators and community activists with a degree in Computer Engineering from Makerere University of Science and Technology. They are passionate about using technology to positively transform people’s lives. They both have experience as a Tech Educators and tutors for embedded systems.

We have a functioning prototype that has been tested with a small group of users, and we are now refining our design and business model based on user feedback. We are preparing to launch a larger pilot program to further test and iterate on our solution before scaling up to more widespread adoption. While we have made significant progress, we still consider ourselves a Prototype as we continue to refine and improve our solution.
