Recyglo' affordable circular economy solutions
The global pollution problem that is caused by waste pollution is in need of help in developing countries to serve bottom 4 billion people where they lack infrastructure, awareness and education. We came up with two verticals: B2B and B2B2C models to offer zero waste solutions. Meanwhile, we provide training for employees & facility crew for waste management knowledge offline & Online, segregation bins as infrastructure, logistics platform, data analytics for waste consumption and reporting & traceability mechanism. B2B model allows us to bring in the revenue directly to us and to have direct impact on hundreds of thousands of employees. B2B2C App model allows individuals to do their own waste management, recycling and carbon footprint reduction. B2B is subscription model and B2B2C is commission based on raw materials trading through the whole supply chain.
In many developing countries, landfill and incineration creates massive environmental pollution problems. In Yangon, the biggest city in Myanmar with more than 8 million people alone produced more than 10,000 metric tons per day. First of all, there is no segregation infrastructure in place and collection system cannot serve the whole population. Only 2 million out of 8 million population in Yangon is served and only 10% out of 51 million is served in Myanmar. The number is is similar in the South East Asia and many developing countries in Africa. We want to change that. We want all the resources are circulated back in the circular economy.
We are serving in urban area first using our B2B zero waste management solutions. The direct impact is the number of employees that they are using our zero waste management service. All the waste are re-purposed, recycled and upcycled. We have connected with existing infrastructure for the improvement of waste management recycling solutions as well as creating new solution through new technology and R&D. The businesses receive the Dashboard on reflecting how much waste are collected and recycled, traceability on what happen to the waste and carbon footprint calculation & offsetting. Currently more than 250,000 people are using our service. We are expected to be a million users at the end of this year.
The employees also become our customers in our personalized waste management platform where they can sell their second-hand products and recycled materials to the collectors meanwhile collectors can trade their raw materials to recycling factories through our platform.
Our solution is a waste management platform together for businesses to do recycling for all the waste they produce along with traceability and reporting mechanism. The platform is empowered by logistics network and data analytical to do recommendation on cost reduction.
- Demonstrate business models for extending the lifetime of products
- Enable recovery and recycling of complex products
- Growth
- New business model or process
Our B2B Waste Management solution bring in multiple stakeholders from waste management industries to make sure that our system can run without infrastructural needs. The innovation happens using technology to serve and scale in the sector where it usually require large capital investment, educational awareness and supply chain innovation. Our business end-user receive internationally recognized certification, Dashboard for downloading waste management reports, see the optimized waste management collection schedules, order sustainability related products and do on-demand collection and waste management service for special category of waste. The logistics is designed by based on the UBER model of on-demand truck that significantly reduced the operational cost and large capital investment. The recycling factories receive the large volume of waste and clean raw materials that are directly source from the waste generation area.
Our C2C solutions allow individual to do recycling and waste management for free of charge and get paid by selling recyclable items. The model is UBER-for-Recycling and on-demand service. We have connected with informal sector who are doing large amount of recyclable waste collection in the market to connect with household directly. Household can do recycling and make money while collector can collect on valuable recyclable items have easy access to valuable recycled items directly from the household. Both parties achieved win-win situation. In the mid-mile of the supply chain, we become a aggregator for raw materials to sell it to local and regional recycling factories through our platform.
In B2B, We have build the whole product-market fit supply chain and automation of every new process by the technology. The core technology is combination of already existing multiple process technologies and integrating in our supply chain platform. We use Bokashi organic recycling to allow organic recycling conveniently at Organizations without the smell. We use pressing technologies from Germany to be able to recycle non-recyclable items from the market for producing ceiling board. We connect with truck drivers through our IT platform to be able to do logistics. We are equipping our bins with IOT devices to be able to measure the weight of the waste on each category and calculate on average carbon that we are producing instead of measuring the weight every time we collect. Blockchain is deploying in the whole supply chain to be able to capture the whole supply chain movement of raw materials.
In C2C, we predict the number on-demand service through machine learning where people will be ordering the on-demand collection and why they will be doing it. Artificial Intelligence is used in image recognition of waste and order-receiving through Facebook Bot.

We are making small changes one at a time. In order to give the best possible service for our clients, we make sure sure that supply side is helping to make one changes at a time. We started our business with only three item: Plastics, Cans and Paper. Later we expand into other various types of waste such as electronics waste, glass, organic, textiles, etc. For non-recyclable items such as organic, electronics waste and some types of glasses, we curate on their different needs. For organic, we use Bokashi organic Recycling Technology to allow us to do composting-at-site and connect with organic farms while we ship e-waste to South Korea, Japan and Slovenia to do recycling. We connected Malaysian factories also take glass cullets for large amount where only 10% of the glass is recycled in Myanmar. In addition to Waste Management, we are now adding other services such as carbon footprint calculation, off-setting based through our C2C platform on specific categories on waste such as plastics packaging that require additional support to be able to recycling. We provide training and education to stay on our platform through online and offline Learning Management System.
