Handscart
We strongly believe that to increase the production of crafts and cultural goods, we need to uniquely engage both the rural and urban audiences. We work from the 3E model, useful in solving major social problems, and applicable to countries with unfulfilled artisans and artists. 3E: Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship.
Handscart marketplace for artisanal goods. We provide a single platform for all handmade goods, with an algorithmic marketplace, that helps artisans and designers create Recycled Designer Gifts to Reuse.
We use collaborative filtering and machine learning to recommend not only goods, but also bundles of goods to our customers. This is continuously improved through intensive R&D, optimizing our recommendation algorithms. For instance, there has been recent research into recommendation systems, using machine learning, to find the perfect pairing between cheese and wine.

We work from the 3E model, useful in solving major social problems, and applicable to countries with unfulfilled artisans and artists. 3E: Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship. We are solving issues by providing artisans e-learning for skill development, to increase production, allowing artisans to acquire self employment and start small production enterprises in communities. Our online store is a marketplace for them to open shops without paying high big rent in a market for physical shops, risking whether customers will come and buy. It solves the second hand product problem as well, and through selling second hand products we also making communities sustainable "Share, Sell and Rent". It's a bridge to fill the gap between artisans and artists, in villages and small towns, and to connect them to customers all over world via computer. In urban markets, these products do not find value for the limited utilitarian scope in them. Middlemen make the crafts expensive, and it ceases to be affordable for the masses, so with this we have a NO Middleman system.

For instance, there has been recent research into recommendation systems, using machine learning, to find the perfect pairing between cheese and wine. Determining these optimal recommendations across all artisanal goods requires extensive machine learning R&D to develop proprietary algorithms. Further, our platform is inherently innovative, where artisans no longer need to rent or buy big stores in market, and can instead create a cost-effective, one-stop, virtual solution.
