Our business model, based on grants from Universidad Icesi, enables us to offer free services to a carefully selected target audience: teachers from public educational institutions, primarily women (60%). This initiative removes economic barriers and promotes equity in access to quality education.

We look to the future with strategic vision. We are committed to actively seeking new avenues of funding, such as partnerships with other institutions, foundations, and/or companies, government contracts, and participation in grants to ensure the long-term sustainability of EdutekaLab and ensure its continuity over time.
The educational platform operates with a transparent cost structure, including $10,800 USD annually for infrastructure maintenance and $34,000 USD for salaries and tool development. Currently, Universidad Icesi covers 85% of these costs, while the remaining 15% comes from projects executed using the tools. The platform is continuously optimizing costs and seeking opportunities through tenders and grants to ensure its long-term sustainability.
- Currently, we are developing various projects with a total funding of $35,000 USD. The first project involves a strategic alliance with a renowned private company in the region, aiming to provide quality education to over 5,000 children of its employees annually. During the duration of the alliance, a 20% increase in the academic performance of the beneficiaries is expected. This annual investment of $15,000 USD would be maintained for 3 years, totaling $45,000 USD aimed at improving the educational quality of the employees' children.
- The second ongoing project involves a donation from a Foundation committed to the educational quality of the region, estimated at approximately $5,000 USD for the first year.
- Thirdly, we are participating in a new program by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation called "ColombIA Inteligente," promoting artificial intelligence projects and aerospace technologies. If selected, we expect to receive funding of around $15,000 USD. In this project, we envision positively impacting a large number of women through a tool focused on gender-based violence.
- Additionally, we are conducting research funded by the Spencer Foundation, aimed at measuring the impact of the integration and use of ICT in approximately 10 public educational institutions. This research, focused on the field of mathematics, has the potential to benefit around 3,000 students. The budget for this project is $500 USD per month for seven months, totaling $3,500 USD.
