To be a Knower

The specific problem I want to solve is that global educational sources unfairness situation especially for the developing countries. Meanwhile, I want to solve the problems about this in my country: China. Because of the region in China, the information is not balance in everything country or region. With the development of the technology and economics, the information gap must be exist. What I want to do is to reduce the gap between the information and students. The people who is a student in every country no matter which stage they are in is the people who will be affected. There are many factors will contributing to the problem relate to my solution, such as diversify channels, the attitude of students’, global educational environment, prejudice etc. There are some data about this specific problem.

My solution is “To be a Knower”, which is to gather the information from different universities and markets, making good connection between students and other main body. This solution is used to reduce the distance between the students and the information main body so that students can get the information conveniently. To be a knower mainly about a online website or a subscription. The website or subscription will be devided into many parts,which will contribute to students’ study, life and entertainment. Without doubt, the technology should be use because of the huge amount of data and updated volume. Furthermore, what I need to do is to visit different countries to know their cultures and other background about the country or region. Making stable connection among different main body and getting different effective information are important for my future institution.

The target population of my solution is very clear, which is for the students in the universities no matter which stage they are in. Recently, I focus on directly and meaningfully improve their competitiveness through getting the information they can not touch. As you can see, the foreign information can not be delivered easily. Nowadays, they can not get the enough information. Meanwhile, the data volume is so huge, they can not deal with so much information in a short period of time. Meanwhile, the complicated information can not be filtered standardizely. The solution will set up a stage for them to filter the information they need. What’s more, they can save more time and energy to collect information. Meanwhile, our filters’ standard will be set up by some professional person so that the information not only include the features of students’, but also meet their needs. This solution will address their needs through the aspects above.

I am the suitable person to design this solution. Now, I have set up a club in my university, which is to gather the information from school. I am so close to the students who need the stage for information. Our club has set up the questionnaire to collect students needs. What we found is that we have the similar ideas with the students. I think that as a Team Lead I can represent these communities which include some students. Our solution will follow the regulations and rules in China. Like our club, if my solution can come true, I will start the solution in Suzhou so that I can foresee some potential problems of my solution. Meanwhile, I will have a communication with the United Nations officials about how to combine the topic with my real career better. Furthermore, the population should be more wider. If we limit the member, we can not achieve the final goal: Dealing with the educational gap globally, improving the education fairness, facilitating students more creative depends on the sources provided from other region in the world.

Up to now, I tried to set up a subscription to gather the information from university. However, Because of the limitation of school club, I can not touch the source from other universities. Now I have tried to built a subscription to gather the information from three aspects, which is academic, life and entertainment, but it’s only for the school inside. The solution will only depends on two aspects, which is academic and life. Because different region has different needs, what the solution want to do is to balance the two aspects. For my club’s work is to gather the information like competitions, social practice, SURF project, mentors and so on. Meanwhile, the career plan is also important for students to have a further understanding of the knowledge they have learned. Now I also focus on the students’ life in my university, which include dormitory, registration and some essential time etc.

My goal is not only for fund raiseing, but also the most important is to find more cooperations to work together in order to let the gap of information more smaller. For finance, I think it should depends on the real situation of students. Developing some projects which can help the students who have the innovation but can not realize is what the solution want to do. For technology, I think it’s a big problem, because the solution means that we need to collect more data from different countries or regions. Meanwhile, the solution also need people to filter different information and finally add into the huge big database for analyse. For culture, the solution respect to different background students. However, we also need to have a better understanding of the cultures. That’s why I think that the solution need the person who is good at cross-culture communication. All in all,how to build the link between different countries and regions is the key for this solution. If we have a solid bridge between different countries and regions, the solution can operate smoothly.

Now, only one person, but I also want to let my small club as a begining so that it can transform to a company or organization to influence more people.

I only provide 0.5 years working on this solution, because since I got into the university, I realize that I need to start to transform to be a global citizen. Preparation began in November 2023.

I am not clear about the business modeling. Meanwhile, I think I also have time to consider deeply about the solution.
