Tonse Vulnerable Children's education project
- Zambia
- Nonprofit
This project is seeking to address the challenges of lack of education opportunities for marginalized children and the inequalities caused by lack of access to education for these children. That is why the project provides free, IT-based inclusive early childhood, primary, secondary and STEM educational support for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children, as well as full back-to-school opportunities which educate most vulnerable and disadvantaged secondary school children, illegal migrant children and teenager mothers in Libuyu. The project also seek to address the challenge of generational poverty and vulnerability caused by lack of education the young generation, who will be tomorrow’s adults. Therefore, by educating them, poverty is prevented from passing from one generation to the next, as the educated children will use their education to live better and improved lives, develop their community and break out of the circle of poverty they once lived in. The project also aims at providing IT-based education programs, STEM and educational software lessons, as well as computer lessons for Marginalized, most vulnerable and disadvantaged children who have never had access to laptops or computer lessons.

Our project serves the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children coming from poor families.Life is tough for these people; most of them live on less than $1 per day. They experience physical pain that comes with too little food and long hours of work. Most of them experience moral pain from being forced to make choices such as whether to buy school materials for a child’s school or sacrifice the child’s education to put food on the table for the whole family. That is how we started this project, so that we can provide free early childhood, primary and secondary educational opportunities to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children
Topping Crue Foundation has great experience in executing this kind of projects. We have been successfully implementing various kinds of community projects including this one since 2016 and have the qualified personnel and experience to ensure that this project is a sure success.
- Ensure that all children are learning in good educational environments, particularly those affected by poverty or displacement.
- 4. Quality Education
- Pilot
We chose the stage above because our project is already using education to end poverty. Because access to high-quality primary education and supporting child well-being is a globally-recognized solution to the cycle of poverty. This is, in part, because it also addresses many of the other issues that keep communities vulnerable. Education is often referred to as the great equalizer: It can open the door to jobs, resources, and skills that help a person not only survive, but thrive. In fact, according to UNESCO, if all students in low-income countries had just basic reading skills (nothing else), an estimated 171 million people could escape extreme poverty. If all adults completed secondary education, we could cut the global poverty rate by more than half. That is why we chose to provide education to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children leaving no one behind ensuring that they all get educated and reach their full potential and end poverty. Our project is at a stage where its been tested and results are visible for all to see in Libuyu that the children we started educating in 2026 have since completed school and living improved lives and have completely broken out the the circles of poverty they once lived in.
We are applying to Solve so that they can help us solve the challenge of finance we are currently facing. We have assembled a qualified team to fully implement this project, but we are lacking the financial resources to continue implementing the project. This is why we are applying to you, so that you can assist us with financial resources or connect us to financial resources.

That is why we chose to provide education to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children as a way of ending poverty. At its core, a quality education supports a child’s developing social, emotional, cognitive, and communication skills. Children who attend school also gain knowledge and skills, often at a higher level than those who aren’t in the classroom. They can then use these skills to earn higher incomes and build successful lives.
The project will greatly impact the public and the community in that it will greatly help in preventing generational poverty passed on from one young generation to the next due to a lack of education by educating children of today who will be leaders of tomorrow. Apart from that, the project will promote girls and women's empowerment by bringing back into school teenage mothers so that they can complete their secondary education become productive and contribute to the development of not only their communities but the world at large. The Project will also see a total reduction of early and forced marriages in the targeted community in that most of the teenage mothers will be Captured under our back-to-school program and brought back into school to continue their education. The project will also see a total reduction in crime rate in the targeted communities, to the great benefit of the public, as most of the street kids and children of illegal migrant who mostly cause trouble to members of the public will be captured under this project and enrolled into primary school or supported at secondary school level to continue their education. The public will greatly benefit in that, in the immediate years to come, they will now have an educated community that will live productive and improved lives and be able to completely break out of the poverty levels they are currently living in. The project will also benefit the public in that it will reduce inequalities caused by lack of access to education for marginalized children and contribute to the achievement of universal primary and secondary education for all children regardless of their background by 2030. Therefore, this is a very important public benefit project that will provide and improve the type of education offered to vulnerable children, one that will yield transformational and long-lasting educational improvements for vulnerable children, thereby contributing to the achievement of universal primary and secondary education for all children by 2030, regardless of their background.
The overall objectives of this project are: To provide free, early childhood, primary and secondary educational opportunities for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children who without our support will never have a chance to be educated and reach their full potential, To improve education for all pupils, particularly those with learning differences who are currently experiencing further marginalization due poverty, To close the current existing learning differences between the rich and vulnerable children in accessing quality education, To enable the vulnerable Children drive their own learning using adaptive software, To advance vulnerable children's education through play, To provide STEM education to vulnerable children, eradicate poverty using education as a tool, To reduce inequalities caused by lack of access to education for the marginalized children and to contribute to the achievement of universal primary and secondary education for all children by 2030 .
The impact will be measured by the number of beneficiaries who will benefit and be impacted by this project and whether the targeted objectives have been achieved. Nevertheless, this project has an outlined Monitoring and evaluation plan which will measure the project impact against its intended objectives to see if they have been achieved or not.
We IT based education program for our most vulnerable and disadvantaged children. This online educational software will help us as a foundation to unlock vulnerable children’s creativity and encourage pupil or child interactivity through multimedia content, which will promote children’s personal development and make it more fun for the pupil than just reading a book. This is especially important for us as a foundation dealing with young children, who are much harder to engage than adults Therefore, Multimedia content which will be taught to the children using the procured educational software will stimulate the curiosity of young learners, making it easy for them to understand the topics being taught. The project will also enable the vulnerable Children drive their own learning using adaptive software on solar-powered tablets that can be used in any setting be it school, home, or community and that do not require internet connectivity. We will use the procured Laptops to teach educational software lessons as well as computer lessons to the pupils. Currently, as a community school, we lack this facility. We will also use the laptops to keep track of our pupils' assignments and utilize an online school calendar. With our own laptops, our teachers will be able to edit pupils' papers and return them digitally to provide more detailed feedback for better learning outcomes for our children.
