WAS Company (Worldwide Accountability Solutions)
We have 2 big problems in the world, plastic pollution in the oceans, rivers and streets, as well as extreme poverty in Mexico and around the world, preventing the healthy and strong growth of families, mainly children.
That is why we have created MWorks and together with Polycreate by WAS Co, we seek to empower Mexican and worldwide families through environmental care and recycling.
In a short term, generating greater citizen participation of families for the collection of plastic waste and then the transformation of waste into valuable products, such as cell phones, plastic wood, furniture and urban real estate, focusing on the development objectives sustainable development of the UN
In the medium term, to be able to build decent and sustainable housing with construction materials based on recycled synthetic polymer composites.
And in the future, build sustainable housing with our materials throughout the world.
We have 2 big problems in the world, plastic pollution in the oceans, rivers and streets. In 2030 there will be more plastics than fish in the ocean. Many of those materials can not be recycled or there is no one to recycle them. Generating plastic pollution, affecting the health of everyone, from the fish to us, the humans who consume the fish.As well as extreme poverty in Mexico and around the world, preventing the healthy and strong growth of families, mainly children. There is extreme poverty throughout the world, one of the main needs is lack of decent housing and quality of families, where there is lack of security, health, education, welfare and life expectancy.
Poverty is an epidemic that affects millions of people on our planet. In the world, 1.4 billion people suffer extreme poverty and almost 900 million suffer from hunger, have no access to drinking water and other basic services such as health and education.
In Mexico, more than 60% of the population lives in poverty and lacks public services. And of that percentage more than 70% do not have decent and quality housing.
Today, we are working in marginalized communities in the state of Nuevo León, Mexico. Where we have directly impacted more than 15 Mexican families with workshops on education, environmental care, recycling, and have increased their income level to 10% and their life expectancy to 30%.
MWorks seeks to generate more opportunities for low-income families to obtain decent housing or improve their housing through sustainable construction materials, which are low cost and with better properties than conventional, with an efficient construction system, the construction of a house is done in 1 day, thermal, and long-lasting, with a size of 60 m2, with a maximum value of $ 4,500 USD. Through our model of empowerment. You can scale this project in any country in the world, because the building materials are based on plastic waste such as PET, HDPE, PP. These plastics abound around the world, especially in the oceans, and we are one of the most efficient solutions.
Our vision is to identify low-income families in a community with a network of media, recycling, recycling, and recycling, for different types of products and to buy them, and with that money. You can pay for the improvement of your home or build a new decent home, with materials created by Polycrete by WAS Co. All families of vulnerable communities have decent housing with our sustainable building materials. And be able to clean streets, rivers, seas and oceans for the construction of these homes with materials based on plastic waste.
Business Model:
1. Selection: Choose the area where you are going to work, based on communities that are low and very low socioeconomic level, we will start in areas where plastic garbage is already available and in the longer term we work with communities in general * that have plastic garbage * (collection even if you do not have), that more than half need decent housing. 2. Identification: Identify needs of the selected community. 3. Know detailed program: If the needs are going to be satisfied with our program, inform the communities what we do and how we do it. 4. Leader: Select leader or leaders of the community. that will be the direct communication between community and mworks. 5. Recycling workshops: That the community has knowledge about the collection and recycling of plastic. 6. Action: Community begin to collect. 7. Product transformation: They will create a lot of productos by Polycreate. 8. & Growth economy: We will pay to the products. 9. Construction: Start building the family's house. 10. Follow-up: Empowerment to families in the community.
- Demonstrate business models for extending the lifetime of products
- Enable recovery and recycling of complex products
- Pilot
- New technology
We are developing new technology with recycled polymers, to apply them in nonstructural and structural construction materials, as well as other products for the environment. Our technology will be patented, and it has a great opportunity of escalation to other countries, to be able to eliminate the plastic trash of streets, rivers and seas, as well as environmental contamination.
And we have a business model that is new:
1. Selection: Choose the area where you are going to work, based on communities that are low and very low socioeconomic level, we will start in areas where plastic garbage is already available and in the longer term we work with communities in general * that have plastic garbage * (collection even if you do not have), that more than half need decent housing. 2. With Polycrete by WAS Co we develop sustainable construction materials based on plastic waste, produce from soffits, and dividing walls to build social housing or industrial warehouses.
These materials are 100% polymers, they are produced from the plastic waste that is crushed and washed, and enters the transformation process by extrusion of plastics to mix the polymers, melt and extrude the profiles to make panels and dividing walls. With better mechanical properties and greater benefits than conventional ones, and less toxic for living beings.
On the other hand we have an ecological concrete where we use the waste of recyclers to create this concrete with superior properties, and better benefits than conventional ones.
The mixture of sand, cement, waste of recyclers is made, among other additives to be able to better properties, and make it more sustainable.
Today, we are serving more than 15 families in the community of El Prado, Galeana, Nuevo León, México. We are just beginning and we are empowering more than 15 families in the community, increasing their education, hope and motivation of life, improving parts of their home with our materials, development and creation of a sustainable park for the whole community, and Increase in income and work in +15 families, especially in mothers.
In the next year, we are serving more than 100 families in more communities in Nuevo León, Mexico.
In five years, we want to serving families in more countries en Latin America, like Colombia, Perú, Chile, and others. Serving more than 1000 families.
Our vision is to identify low-income families in a community with a network of media, recycling, recycling, and recycling, for different types of products and to buy them, and with that money. Our barriers are the capacity to produce machinery. We need more investment for greater production capacity in relation to demand and our social and environmental impact objectives.
We have a collaboration and synergy with Polycrete by WAS Co & Polycreate for WAS Co. Where Polycrete is selling sustainable building materials such as: soffits, dividing walls, among other materials to commercial and social builders, and % of revenues it goes to MWorks to build decent homes. Also Polycreate for the sale of by-products such as awards, medals, key rings, cell phone cases, even furniture, urban real estate, and interior and exterior design with recycled materials.

Today, 100% of our revenues come from our brands Polycrete by WAS Co & Polycreate by WAS Co. Polycrete by WAS Co we sell construction materials, panels and dividing panels to developers and builders. Polycreate by WAS Co we sell from recognitions, medals, key rings, cell phone cases, to furniture, urban real estate, and for interior and exterior design. Even so, we have received support and economic funds in different competitions, crowdfunding, etc. In the medium term, revenues would come from the sale of sustainable housing to families or social construction companies, as well as government.
Maybe we are experts in Mexico because of the studies we have done and the work we have done, but with the help of Solve we could make a greater impact in other countries of the world, and not only in Latin America, but in other continents.

Production
We have in mind to ally with the main producers of concrete because we have just created an ecological concrete, either, CEMEX, Holcim, etc. Also to ally with the main recyclers of plastics, PET, HDPE, PP, to be able to have suppliers of our raw materials.
On the other hand, we would be interested in participating in advice and acceleration with you.
With the award we would make a lot of social and environmental impact, we would invest in our own production plant to start producing, selling and building sustainable homes in Mexico and around the world.
We would invest in creating a company that collects and recycles plastics in a community that is focused on other communities, and where there is a lot of garbage or sanitary landfills in order to obtain our own raw material and reduce production and construction costs. If today, a house of 60 m2 costs us around $ 4000 USD, with this investment we could reduce the cost of housing up to 50%, costing $ 2000 USD for each sustainable, dignified and quality housing of 60 m2.
We will not participate for that prize. Thank you.
We did not use artificial intelligence yet.
