TOMi 8 and TOMi digital

The TOMi 8 is an All in one device with the aim to help teachers to create interactive, meaningful and personilize learning paths for each one of his or her students. Takle the challenge of connectivity, have integrated a hotspot to simulate a intranet with more than 100 devices, collect data from the platforms and share a detailed report of each one. 

It is an ecosystem of solutions based on the TOMi 8 device how works connected a standard projector, transforming any regular surface (normal wall) into a smartboard where teachers can interact with several contents precurated, online and offline. Also have a 13mgp camara with artificial vision to grade assesments in seconds, take attendance with Qr codes and is Android based to download any educational app teachers need to interact with the students.

Serves to all kind of schools, but mostly to teachers and schools in rural areas, with low quality of internet connection.

We have been working during the last 15 years in all center and south america understanding the challenges of the teachers in different context, to develop a portable solution for their needs. We have a well seasoned engineering team, and high level trainers to train the teachers in all aspects of the devices and platforms: TOMi 8 and TOMi Digital.

TOMi Inc is a company how have been working in several countries en Center America, specially in Guatemala, with the ministery of education, training more than 19K teachers in digital skills, helping the ministery to take technoligy into the classroom and creating a big community of teachers around the globe to share their classes in a constant support process. We are ready to scale our solution to the next level. We are focused to create a global map of teachers sharing their classes, experiences and knowledge with others. 

If our solution is selected we would need financial support to scale the impact of the programs, take technology into places without resources and engage more and more teachers in a collaboratory experience. 

It is portable solution, have a content server full of educational content, have a router integrated to simulate internet connection and engage 100 devices, also have the technoligy to change the learning experience in any classroom. 

With TOMi 8 device the teachers can:
