TENAWO Digital Health is addressing the specific problem of limited access to healthcare services, particularly in underserved and remote areas of Ethiopia. The scale of this problem is significant, with millions of people in Ethiopia facing challenges in accessing essential healthcare services. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Ethiopia has a doctor-to-population ratio of 1:7,631, well below the WHO recommendation of 1:1,000. This shortage of healthcare providers, coupled with geographical barriers and inadequate infrastructure, contributes to limited access to healthcare in many parts of the country.
Our platform aims to bridge this gap by providing convenient access to healthcare services through telemedicine and e-pharmacy solutions. By offering telemedicine consultations with medical specialists, users can receive medical advice and treatment without the need to travel long distances to healthcare facilities. This is especially beneficial for individuals in rural and remote areas who may have limited access to healthcare providers.
Additionally, our e-pharmacy services allow users to order medications online and have them delivered to their doorstep, reducing the need to visit physical pharmacies. This is particularly important in Ethiopia, where access to medications can be challenging, especially in rural areas.
Overall, our solution addresses key factors contributing to the limited access to healthcare in Ethiopia, including geographical barriers, shortage of healthcare providers, and lack of infrastructure. By leveraging technology, we aim to improve access to healthcare services for millions of people in Ethiopia and contribute to better health outcomes for communities across the country.
TENAWO Digital Health's solution is a comprehensive e-pharmacy and telemedicine platform that provides convenient access to healthcare services for users in Ethiopia. The platform consists of a web application, mobile application, call center, and Telegram bot, offering a range of features to meet the healthcare needs of users.
Through the platform, users can schedule telemedicine consultations with medical specialists, order medications from an e-pharmacy, access health records, and receive health analytics. The web and mobile applications provide a user-friendly interface for users to input health data, schedule appointments, and engage in telemedicine consultations seamlessly. The call center (9456) offers another channel for users to access services, allowing them to schedule appointments and order medications over the phone. Additionally, the Telegram bot provides users with another way to interact with the platform, offering features such as appointment scheduling, medication ordering, and health tips.
The platform uses a combination of technologies to deliver these services, including cloud computing, data analytics, and telecommunication technologies. These technologies enable the platform to provide fast and reliable access to healthcare services, regardless of the user's location.
Overall, TENAWO Digital Health's solution provides a convenient and accessible way for users in Ethiopia to access healthcare services, improving health outcomes and quality of life for individuals across the country.
TENAWO Digital Health serves a wide range of users in Ethiopia, particularly those who face challenges in accessing healthcare services. Our target population includes:
