Drone based Surveying with Applied Intelligence and Big Data
- Pre-Seed
Using drones to acquire land information completely, quickly and cheaply. Big data to process, database and store this together with legal documentation. Finally using cognitive intelligence (manually now) to correct mathematical and legal issues in order for people to have their land titles and government to start to collect taxes
- A lot of land around the world isn’t properly surveyed
especially in 3rd world countries where development is booming
- There is no complete database people can access to
(Usually disparate : real estate property listing, database of titles, visual image (Google Earth), appraisal sites)
- Land Transactions are delayed or takes a long time
(due to lengthy due diligence and lack of data)
- Local Government Units / Institutions need proper land information to collect taxes in order to serve their constituents
Most local government units are bankrupt or rely on national funds
Our Summary of Findings:
- Generally, countries with better land administration systems have higher GDP per capita.
- Generally, countries with better land administration systems are seen to be less corrupt.
Our solution focuses on building better land administration systems albeit privatizing it to enforce better outcomes for our country's GDP and reduction of corruption in the country.
Our research and experience showed us that a big issue in the further and more equitable development of the Philippines is the lack of a complete, accurate land administration system.
- Clean, searchable and actionable information : that can be used by governments to collect proper taxes and/or do proper planning as well as for private individuals and companies to enable land development and transactions easier and
- Software for local government to manage their land
- Software as a Service for Private companies or Individuals to use
Track in our geospatial database the number of hectares surveyed, properly indexed and processed - Number of hectares surveyed, database and corrected. Target is 1 Million hectares
Track Awarding of Land Titles provided by the government via yearly reports of government and tracking down our beneficiaries - 1 Million Land Titles Provided (12 Million Outstanding as per research)
Track government reports on yearly income as well as working closely with LGU partners (tracked with our software) the rise of their income - 100 LGUs able to collect substantial real estate tax (1,100 LGUs are unable to collect substantial real estate taxes)
- Adult
- Lower middle income economies (between $1006 and $3975 GNI)
- Low-income economies (< $1005 GNI)
- Non-binary
- Rural
- Europe and Central Asia
- Middle East and North Africa
- Aero/astrospace engineering
- Consumer-facing software (mobile applications, cloud services)
- Digital systems (machine learning, control systems, big data)
- Imaging and sensor technology
- Robotics
Our solution is the culmination of several years of experience and is unique due to the holistic nature of it our solution focuses on 3 core technologies/competencies that have been optimized together
- Drone Technology (we make our own drones)
- Big Data / GeoSpatial Databases
- Applied Intelligence (automation of manual tasks)
Most of our "competitors" either focus on the acquisition, storage or processing of data whereas we focus on all allowing us vertical efficiencies that will be unmatched in terms of speed, cost of service and quality
The Philippines and a lot of developing countries that have high GDP growth are usually not equitable in distribution in country. Specifically in the Philippines that has amazing GDP growth, a lot of rural areas are still underserved causing unrest, resentment and violence.
Usually in this areas that aren't reach by development it is because of institutional weaknesses that is not their fault. Our objective is to strengthen this for economic development to reach them quicker.
The technology we develop here can be exported as land is everywhere and is a fundamental economic factor
Traditional surveying , data processing and data manipulation is both expensive monetarily and temporally thus not accessible to the current communities. Our solution allows the communities to access our technology either through a consumer/public application, enterprise solutions and government solutions.
We have a unique Private Public Partnership program that allows this data and information to be brought to the world easily, cheaply and quickly.

Our objective ultimately is to create a profitable solution/product through Big Data as a Service.
Currently we are sustaining ourselves financially on a per project basis on surveying projects as we build this product.
Currently we lack the following
- Funds to scale and build the product quickly as currently we are focused on surviving on a month to month basis with projects
- Artificial Intelligence experts who are able to convert our manual methods into an automated applied intelligence
- Funds to build a prototype that will allow traditional financial markets/tools and institutions to finance the expansion
- 2 years
- 3-6 months
- 18+ months

We are tackling a big problem through technology and by being part of the MIT Solve we are able to leverage its network to raise funds, improve our technology and make our impact bigger than if we do it ourselves.
Unfortunately in the Philippines we are still have a strong colonial mentality and "locally developed" solutions aren't as supported as internationally acclaimed technologies so the backing of MIT Solve allows us to be reputable to our partners
