The four major issues our organization is working to address is
1. Electronic Health Records Management
2.Remote Patient Monitoring
3. Population Health Modernisation.
4. Solar for Health ( Adequate Electricity)
Access to adequate healthcare services is difficult in Nigeria, with many individuals living in rural or distant locations lacking access to medical facilities. The usage of digital health services has the potential to bridge this gap by allowing remote access to healthcare services.
Another major health issue which haven't been adequately addressed in Africa is the issue of Remote Patient Monitoring, no adequate technology to connect patients and healthcare providers on a daily basis, and sometimes the cost of transportation to medical facilities and waiting to see a doctor takes a long time.
Public health modernization in Africa faces several challenges, including:
Lack of data and information systems: In Nigeria we lack the necessary data collection and reporting systems to effectively monitor public health indicators and track disease outbreaks. This hinders the ability to make informed decisions and implement evidence-based interventions
Addressing these challenges will require increased investment in public health infrastructure, workforce development, data collection and reporting systems, and community engagement.
Solar for Health
We are also having issues of regular electricity, health facilities cannot offer contemporary healthcare to patients without access to energy. 2 in 4 health institutions lack access to power altogether, and 3 out of every 4 lack dependable electricity. Millions of people are left vulnerable, especially women, children, and the elderly.
Africa bears one-quarter of the global disease burden, yet has only 2% of the world’s doctors. This is unacceptable, and we need to take steps to address inadequate healthcare infrastructure now.
Our mission is to transform how medical groups in Nigeria use technology and real-time data to treat patients outside of the practice.
Our software is designed to assist doctors in streamlining their workflow, writing reports more quickly, and increasing efficiency. We want our users to spend as much time as possible with patients and as little time as possible on accounting, notes, paperwork, and so on.
We offer a powerful remote patient monitoring (RPM) software solution with integrated third-party biometric devices designed to improve efficiency and effectiveness of your disease management and post-acute care programs.
As a pioneer in remote care solutions, we help medical organisations provide proactive care that re-centers the patient-provider relationship while improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
We are developing programmes which aim to demonstrate that plug and play solar systems and handheld medical appliances, can be used to develop a sustainable, replicable and scalable model through which health facilities have improved access to a wider range and higher quality of healthcare services.
We are developing a Public Health Modernization framework for ensuring local public health departments (LPHAs) across Nigeria can serve their communities through:
Tracking and preventing the spread of communicable (infectious) diseases
Promoting community resilience in the face of climate change.
Responding to public health emergencies.
Promoting health and well-being.
Ensuring Nigerians have access to health care.
Providing clear, timely, and culturally relevant communication to their communities on public health concerns.
Providers
We partner with healthcare providers to help improve and expand healthcare delivery, facilitate access to care, and enhance patient experiences and outcomes. We organise local training programmes for health workers on Using Clinical health data for better healthcare and Remote Patient Monitoring,
Payers
We help payers transform connectivity, collaboration, and experiences with providers and members to improve outcomes.
Community
We also provide affordable RPM products to patients enrolled them and teach them how to use the technology, some community members are also trained on how to use and install basic solar home system.
Solar for Health
DemandSol is dedicated to making sure that no clinic in Africa is left in the dark, without access to power and light, as we tackle poverty head-on. We think solar energy is essential to helping to resolve this issue.
We have deployed a demo solution in some Clninic, and have gotten some input from the doctors and users and the additional features that will enhance the usability of the solution, like the integration of WhatsApp and text messaging app to the platform.
Our team are pationate data scientists our mission is to harness the power of data science and AI to solve social problems.
- Ensure health-related data is collected ethically and effectively, and that AI and other insights are accurate, targeted, and actionable.
- 3. Good Health and Well-Being
- Pilot
We have deployed the solution to some hospitals, and it is currently in use, we have gotten some feedback that will enable us improve on the application and programme
We hope to expand on our existing platform, creating more features and partnering with similar companies that would assist us expand on our existing technology.
We intend touching more people directly
- Business Model (e.g. product-market fit, strategy & development)
- Human Capital (e.g. sourcing talent, board development)
- Product / Service Distribution (e.g. delivery, logistics, expanding client base)
Remote Patient Monitoring is an innovative way to monitor patients remotely.
Our main objective was to identify the gap in the care continuum. With more than 5 million consultations that are eligible for a remote patient monitoring or continuum of care assessment, it was critical to identify the reasons why patients weren't follow up, stop this from happening, and guarantee that their demands were met in order to properly meet their health needs.
We have witnessed people dying on a daily basis on disease like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart related diseases etc if properly managed this patient will have lived longer.
Our solution will enhance
Accessibility: Remote patient monitoring allows healthcare providers to monitor patients’ health remotely, thus increasing access to care for those in remote or underserved areas. This can help bridge the gap between urban and rural healthcare and improve healthcare equity in Nigeria.
We expect our 1000,000 million lives would be impacted especially those in remote areas who have to travel long distances to visit doctors. They will also have access to affordable medical equipment there can use at home to monitor their diseases.
Cost-effectiveness: Remote patient monitoring can reduce the need for frequent hospital visits and unnecessary hospitalizations, leading to cost savings for both patients and healthcare providers. Population health modernization can also help healthcare systems prioritize resources and allocate them more efficiently to improve overall health outcomes.
Disease Management: Remote patient monitoring can help in the early detection and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and HIV/AIDS. By monitoring key health indicators remotely, healthcare providers can intervene before a condition worsens, leading to better health outcomes and reduced hospital visits.
Data-driven Decision Making: Healthcare providers can make better judgements regarding patient care and public health efforts by gathering and evaluating data from population health management systems and remote monitoring devices. Additionally, by using this data to monitor health trends and customise healthcare interventions for certain groups, healthcare delivery can be made more
Preventive Care: Population health modernization focuses on preventive care strategies that aim to identify and address the root causes of health issues before they become chronic conditions. By utilizing data analytics and remote monitoring technologies, healthcare providers can identify at-risk populations and implement targeted interventions to prevent diseases and improve overall health outcomes.
Overall, the integration of remote patient monitoring and population health modernization in Nigeria has the potential to revolutionize healthcare delivery and improve health outcomes for millions of people.
By leveraging innovative technologies and data-driven strategies, healthcare systems in Nigeria can work towards achieving universal health coverage and better health for all.

We have been providing quality software solutions for over the years, 2022 we decided to focus on healthcare operations especially remote patient monitoring.
We have successfully deployed of solution in some health facilities, our major challenges is to upgrade our solution to meet up with the demand of our partners and patience, currently we are not able to meet up with some of the demands of our providers, which includes integrating with WhatsApp, SMS and providing more remote patient monitoring devices.
