because of the war that is happened in Ethiopia lot of patient history lost because hospitals and clinics are destroyed because of this patients that need proper treatment didn't get that they have suffered and some lots their life... because of the loss of patient history because this hospitals store their patient data using traditional way like paper and excel that is stored locally on computers because of the loss of this data a patient that needs surgery treatment, medication will not get the services on time because their history has been lost they might losses their life they might suffer .. when we see the digital form in the health industry in Ethiopia and other African countries it is almost not available so what we try to solve is to transform the health industry to use a digital technology to store patient data.
what we tried to do is we have build is a system that the clinics or hospitals can store patient data like diagnosis, treatment plan, laboratory results and other related health data to the cloud if a war or a natural disaster occurred they can access the system from the internet or Intranet and treat the patient.
their can be multiple actors that can use our system but what we used in the pilot product is we have an admin, doctor, receptionist, laboratory technicians they have their on user interfaces that they do various activities like inserting patient diagnosis data and request laboratory tests, can see laboratory add test results, can add prescription , can add treatment plans, can add patient bio data, can add employees data can add services and so on.
what technology we have used is for the front end we used react js and for back end we used NodeJS with express js , for database we used Postgres db and our architecture is a microservices architecture.
what we planned for the future we are thinking to incorporate a pharmacy management system for to send the patient prescription to pharmacies. and also telegram bot to that users can use to see their diagnosis result, prescriptions and so on from anywhere they desired
the first is it will transform the health industry because it will encourage medium clinics and hospitals and other types of health centers to use this system to store their patient data properly and helps them to achieve services excellency the solution will be seamless because you can integrate the system to your departments in any way... so it will cut corruption because queue data is stored properly,
and doctors can use this system to store their patient data and access it from any where to do tele-medicines and give emergency treatment.
also helps patients to see their history from anywhere and any hospital to share their history and get proper treatment.
also helps government and other researchers to use the data for researches and to write health policies and so on.
also helps clinic and hospital owners to track their income and expenses.
what encouraged us to do this project because of the war lot of people have suffered because of the loss of their history and we said why dont us try to fix this issue by providing a simple solution to small, medium, higher, specialty clinics and hospitals to store their patient data, at that time also me and my friend was trying open a medium clinic and we start both at the same time and we are using the system to server our patients and we have received a good feedback from them and doctors and so on this gave us the motivation also we are a victim of data loss to every time when we goto facilities that provide health services we pay for new patient card and empty health data because the loss of proper paper management and data management so we said let do this and we are doing it trying to improve the system and to make it available for cheap price because existing systems cost more they are expensive.

because we currently are using it in our clinic called myhope medium clinic that is found in Ethiopia at the capital city Addis Ababa.
we are applying because we want to scale the project and reach every conner of the world that need this kind of system, and we have done the project locally with limited budget and we need a financial help and industry expert helps and strategies to implement to make everyone have access. and to contribute to the community.

we used already existing methods to build our solution we try to make it cheap and accessible for everyone to use. it will transform the health industry by helping owners to modernize their clinics and hospitals .
it will be used to store patient data will help doctors and patient to access their data in easy manner and helps them to decide when where to get treatment and how to give treatment and helps researchers and government to come up with new treatment plan and strategies to address issues like pandemics to write policies and to see who needs vaccinations and in which area needs more work so on.
the impact goals is first to modernize the industry and then to use the data for various type of research and so on we are at 5 % because we only implemented it to our clinic lot of work expected from us.

on the pilot product there are 7 doctors, 4 laboratory technicians, 1 receptionist that are using our system
it has been almost 9 month
Mr habtamu(ceo and owner) is a software engineer and Mr kalid(finical manger and owner ) is a health officer and Mr anduamelak(staff) is also a software engineer. we discuses on the solution before starting development and collect feed back from the clinic team and design the ui prepare a test environment collect feedback from the team and make the changes tthis is how we are doing our best.
