ProMaman

Women in different communities and countries face issues related to DEI at their workplace and society, as well as a mountain of personal struggles that they don't have where to discuss. Free social networks are filled with low quality content, ads, spam and scams while existing professional networks (such as Yammer or Zoho) are not used in smaller companies/organizations and are not focused on women-empowerment (thus, even in big companies that use such platforms, women feel discouraged to raise such topics.)
Women who feel unsupported and helpless develop stress and depression, which harms their life, performance and financial stability.
We develop an online social platform for women and women-supporters (organizations, companies, universities, goverments and individual professionals) to hold online roundtable discussions on needed topics. Those online discussions can be complimentary to offline events and video seminars/conferences, or be started independently by women and women-supporters. Other feature include a library of useful online productivity tools and a directory of various experts to support women in business, health and other matters.
Our target is women, especially working women, ages 15-65 and public and private sectors (companies, organizations, universities, etc.) who are working toward women-empowerment, DEI and positive change.
We want to have no woman feel like she's helpless or left behind. Every woman should be able to have a space to speak up her mind, whether it's about a certain policy or personal matter.
By empowering discussions on topics that improve women's lives, all lives
can be improved and economies and societies will flourish.
I'm a former journalist, a mom of 4 kids and an immigrant in Japan. I know the problems I'm tackling first-hand, as well as from talking to many others, conducting survey and confirming with established studies.
We also have IT specialist and English-Japanese-French translator which help in the development of the global platform. Furthermore, ProMaman is the finalist in the United Nations Development Program, alumni of the 500 Global Startups Accelerator, winner of the AXA award, member of Tokyo Government Startups Consortium, and more. With the excellent team, backups and collaborations, I firmly believe that we can achieve our mission to help women everywhere.

We've conducted a closed beta with selected users and are now building a large waiting list to do an official launch.
Partnerships: We hope to connect with partners to create further value together. We're currently in the process of creating a solution with AXA (insurance company) to empower employees (through women-empowerment) in small to medium size businesses in Japan and we hope to find more partners like that and expand globally.
Collaborations: we hope that organizations, companies, universities from your network will find value in using our platform to hold discussions and raising awareness on topics that matter to women empowerment and well-being.
Belonging: be part of a community of fellow people that are making a positive change in the world.
Use financial award to expand our outreach to more women and sponsor the membership for those who can't pay.

ProMaman is not just a platform - it is a mission and a vision that strives to involve as many public and private sectors as possible to make a significant positive change in many communities around the world. ProMaman enables women (and women-supporters) to discuss and find solutions to various social, work-related and personal topics, while empowering companies and organizations to support women and take an active part in doing so, thus contributing to the well-being and financial growth of their company/organization and society as a whole.
According to Deloitte Global (as well as many other studies), more than half of women want to quit their jobs due to stress, exhaustion and miscommunication with management. This affects women's well-being, health and life. On the other hand, according to SHRM, companies and organizations lose up to 200% of employee yearly salary in expenses related to poor performance and quitting. By promoting communication, understanding and education on DEI through discussions and helpful network of peers, experts and other players, women can have many issues resolved and companies/organizations can have a healthy working environment and lots of saved money.
We're measuring by various factors, for example, by the impactful partnerships and collaborations done with ProMaman, as well as how many users join. Our long-term goal is to have a presence in every country.

Practically form 2023, but the idea first came to me many years ago due to my and my friends' struggles
As a mom myself, I know how important it is to have flexible working hours with remote option and this is the core principles of working at ProMaman. Also, as an immigrant myself, I am a strong supporter of DEI and our team is also multinational and diverse.
Our business model is a subscription B2B2E (business to business to employee). We either sell directly to companies that then provide ProMaman to their employee and management or partner with other companies/organizations to provide ProMaman platform to their clients. To find partners and clients we attend events, exhibit at expos, join contests, etc. Our subscription fee starts at $1 per month, but we're also holding free trials and periodical campaign as part of marketing strategy.
- Organizations (B2B)
So far we've been sponsored by several organizations, but our aim is to be fully sustainable by revenue from subscriptions. Our competitors are Yammer/Microsoft Viva, Zoho, etc., but ProMaman solution stands out by being women and DEI-centered, focused on external collaborations between different companies/organizations within the platform (whereas other platforms are mostly for internal use) and is more affordable.
