We have waste management solution applying in both B2B/B2C segment and we also have waste trading and marketplace platform for individual to do waste management and recycling.
Several infrastructure problems exist in developing countries. Among them, access to waste management is one of the key struggling issues faced by 6 billion people living in developing countries. What we are doing is giving access to better and proper waste management for everyone by the innovative technology. Now both businesses and individuals can do their waste management without relying on existing infrastructure and even make more money by doing waste management.
We are initially serving people who live in the urban area where lacks the proper waste management facility.
Currently, 120,000 to 150,000 people are using our service in B2B business line. We count the number of people who are working in our client’s organization as our customers. We recycle on average of 100 metrics tons per month. We are now running a campaign called “1 million people separating trash” by the end of 2019.
In the B2B/B2C solutions, people subscribe for our waste management solutions, we facilitate on waste management educational training activities, Waste stream visualization and logistics Dashboard, Bins-as-recycling-infrastructure, technology to connect between clients, logistics fleet and various recycling factories. These services will come in as Recyglo’s affordable all-in-one package charged based on the number of subscription and/or on demand waste collection.
In our C2C/marketplace trading platform, we target households and individuals who could not afford our B2B/B2C waste solution. This solution use the power of incentive mechanism to do personalized waste management. The app called “Oh My Trash (OMT)” app allowed the households and individuals to sell the recyclable waste to informal sector small waste management businesses. In our supply chain, the household is incentivized to separate the waste for recyclable or non-recyclable, and people can do on demand waste management service for free of charge and even get paid for segregation. The informal sector small waste management businesses to collect recyclable waste from households and sell it back to factories for higher margin.

The government offer the closest solutions to ours. Some organizations are now competing with us using community center approach. However, the scalability, affordability and accessibility are in question. Our solutions compare to them are easily scalable, affordable and accessible with proper risk management mechanism.
Since we are a platform tech company. Several value chain partners are in the platform. Recyglo can recycle almost everything except the medical waste for now. Each recyclable material, we need at least two partners to handle the recycling. For example, plastic recycling can be done by our partners in industrial zones. It is also the same for metals, papers, e-waste, glass, packaging materials, used cooking oil, etc.
We are winning because our solution is cheaper, better and tech empowered. We are the asset light model and collaboration platform that allow our customers to provide their service. Everyone win in the ecosystem and we will also win as a result.
We are inspired by the other Platform model and Uber. We build platform based on the existing infrastructure that are available on the market.

Our Waste Management solutions enable people to be able to recycle/upcycle their waste. We offer recycling-as-a-service mechanism for businesses and organizations. We aim to offer our services to 1 million people separating the trash and enabling the infrastructure that they need to access. We do it by using the lean methodology by having no-assets in logistics services and recycling infrastructure.
Our marketplace platform also allow the recovery of valuable recyclable items not to go into landfill using the app to sell and trade recyclable waste with the local recycling stations. App users get the points that they can use it to buy other items such as insurance, phone bills, etc.

We are currently serving more than 150,000 people through our B2B and B2C solutions. We expect to increase into 1 million by the end of this year.
We are serving around 1000 C2C customer and we expect to increase into 100,000 daily active users by the end of 2020.
In Fiscal year 2019, we want to increase our customer base of 400 to 2000 customers and recycle more than 500 metric tons per month. In 5 year, we want to handle 30,000 metric tons per day out of 40,000 metric tons per day and impacting more than 20 million people lives. By the end of 2019, 1 million people have access to better and proper waste management and recycling services.
In 5 years, we imagine ourselves as the biggest waste management company in South East Asia and offering innovative and affordable waste management solutions millions of people and expanding to other developing countries.
Hiring good talents to make sure that operation run smoothly. Recruiting good people is likely to be our biggest challenge.
We are planning to hire good COO of the company that can oversee the whole operation of the team and several key accounts manager to make sure that w we do not disappoint our customers.

We have three founders at the moment Shwe Yamin Oo, Okka Phyo Maung and Sai Koe Moe. Yamin is a local serial entrepreneur and reputable business figures in Myanmar. Okka bring his international experiences with engineering and finance background and Soe Moe is the local logistics expert in organizing logistics routes. All of us complement each other and grow exponentially.
We are currently operating in the emerging economy which presents the extremely challenging business climate and where pure tech does not work in some parts of the region. However, we have shown that the right time is now and we make the green business into sustainable and scalable business.
We are currently partnering with several UN agencies, Coca -Cola and other governmental organizations to achieve 90% of recovery of rate of raw materials in 2020 in Myanmar.
In our supply side,we partner with Bokashi Myanmar for organic waste recycling, hundreds of recycling factories for plastics, cans, paper and glass recycling and export/import partner together with both Myanmar and Japan governments to do electronic waste recycling in Japan.
Our Startup is growing with the support from three ecosystem Myanmar, Singapore and Norway. Our operation is now based in South East Asia and growing. In a few years from now, when we grow in the region and we will want to expand to developed country with localized solutions or learned from developed market to apply it in developing countries.
We use subscription and on-demand for both B2B/B2C customers. Commission for C2C customers and we do export/import for recyclable waste.
We recently secured 150,000 USD from Katapult accelerator and now raising 1 million USD seed round. Since we are capital efficient, 1 USD will go quite far in the market. With the re-investment of our capital in the market, we can go to both in Cambodia and Indonesia.
