For four months, my team and I conducted in-depth research, collected testimonies, observed and analyzed the situation. The findings are alarming: thousands of families have been stripped of their savings, plunging them further into poverty.
It is in this context that we decided to provide a radical and lasting solution. The BOX project is the result of this reflection. Our ambition is clear: to create the best financial inclusion application in Africa. We are determined to succeed because this project drives us deeply.
This project goes beyond a simple business. This is our life, our community. It is a quest for justice, revenge for all the victims. Failure is not an option. We must succeed for our community.
If you believe in us, if you support our startup and our project, we will experience an extraordinary adventure. Not just for us, but for everyone who will benefit from the BOX solution.

Imagine a world where everyone, determining their banking status, can easily access decentralized financial services. This is exactly what we offer with the BOX mobile checkout.
Our revolutionary application system connects unbanked or underbanked people with decentralized financial structures. Thanks to BOX, the 7 million Beninese population who do not have access to financial services can open an account in just a few minutes and create several savings banks simultaneously domiciled in the decentralized financial structures of their choice.
The value proposition of the BOX mobile cash register lies in its ability to provide a secure and user-friendly digital solution for managing financial transactions. By combining ease of use with advanced features, BOX enables businesses and individuals to effectively manage their finances, transact securely, and track their financial activities in real time. By providing an alternative to traditional financial management methods, BOX aims to improve operational efficiency, reduce fraud risks and drive financial inclusion for all.
As part of the BOX project, our theory of change is based on the belief that the implementation of a mobile checkout accessible to all will lead to immediate and long-term results for our target population.
Our consistent activities to develop and deploy a user-friendly financial management application, provide training and ongoing support to users, as well as establish partnerships with local financial institutions to ensure access to basic banking services (micro savings, microcredit and microinsurance).
Expected immediate outcomes include better management of personal finances, increased financial inclusion and reduced risks of fraud and embezzlement. In the longer term, we expect the Caisse Mobile BOX to contribute to the reduction of poverty, the stimulation of the local economy and the economic empowerment of individuals and communities.
This theory of change is supported by research into the financial needs of the target population, preliminary impact evaluations, as well as feedback from pilot users. We are confident that the successful implementation of these activities will lead to measurable and sustainable positive results for our beneficiaries.
The impact objectives of our solution, the Mobile Cash Box BOX, are as follows:
1. Increase financial inclusion: Our goal is to reach and serve a growing number of unbanked and underbanked people, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
2. Reduce financial fraud: We aim to reduce instances of fraud and embezzlement by providing a secure and transparent platform for managing personal finances.
3. Improve personal finance management: We seek to strengthen users' financial skills by providing them with tools and resources to manage their money more effectively.
4. Stimulate the local economy: We want to encourage local savings and investment, thus contributing to economic growth and community development.
To measure our progress towards achieving these impact goals, we use key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
- The number of active users of the application
- The number of partner decentralized financial structures
- The rate of financial inclusion in the target areas
- The percentage reduction in reported cases of financial fraud
- The level of user satisfaction with the ease of use and security of the platform.
These indicators allow us to monitor our progress, evaluate the impact of our solution and make adjustments if necessary to better meet the needs of our users and achieve our impact objectives.
The core technology that powers our solution, the Mobile Cash Box BOX, is based on a combination of modern and ancestral technologies aimed at meeting the financial needs of unbanked and underbanked populations, particularly in rural and underserved regions.
The target users (Students, Traders and Craftsmen) use an Android application. Decentralized financial structures use a web application.
Our solution uses a user-friendly mobile application, accessible via popular smartphones, to allow users to easily manage their personal finances. This app is powered by advanced security technologies, ensuring privacy and security of financial transactions.
Additionally, we integrate features like SMS technologies to allow users to access their accounts and complete transactions even without a stable internet connection. This ensures maximum accessibility, even in areas with low connectivity.
At the same time, our solution draws on traditional knowledge and practices in financial management, adapted to the local and cultural realities of target communities. We also value partnerships with local financial institutions to expand access to basic banking services.
In summary, the technology behind the Mobile Cashier BOX includes an intuitive mobile and web app, advanced security technologies, SMS capabilities and integration of traditional financial practices, all combined to provide an inclusive and accessible solution to financial challenges are faced with marginalized populations.
