6C's Workplace Skills Digital Portfolio
- United Kingdom
- For-profit, including B-Corp or similar models
6C's is solving the global economy prosperity Challenge.
We have a global chronic workplace skills shortage.
There is increasing demand for a new set of skills. The skills acquired from the outdated curriculum are not enough to navigate the current workplace. In the UK, 50% of students are unprepared for future jobs (CBI's 2018 survey). Graduates struggle to find jobs because of the disconnect between education and the world of work. Of the thousands of CVs read by recruiters, 98% of job seekers are rejected. (Job Market Experts) Employers struggle to recruit and retain the talent required to boost productivity. Those in employment lack the skills required to succeed and retain jobs. (80% of employers in CMI's 2020 survey).According to McGregor-Smith’s 2017 review, 14% working-age population in the UK are Black/Minority Ethnic (BME) background. However, BME’s underemployment rate is 15.3% compared to 11.5% for White workers. There is a sense of urgency to halt this trend.
Skills shortage is considerably worse in developing countries such as India and Nigeria. (6.3 million Statista 2021) comparison with other countries. There are too few opportunities to access industry-specific experience. As a result, students lack knowledge about the skills and competencies employers require. Furthermore Statista 2022 reported a mismatch between current skills and qualifications required for jobs (58.9% HND, 49.5% OND and 38.7%BSC holders are unemployed. The problem is not unique to the Nigeria as employers lament a global high talent shortage, with a huge disconnect between employer needs and available jobs. The continued disconnect between young people’s aspirations and available jobs puts workforce sustainability and the economy at risk. Additional barriers include poor funding, gaps in teachers’ skills, outdated curriculum, insecurity and barriers of access to education as a result of poverty. There is a 25% shift in job skills set since2015 and a 65% change by 2030 globally shows the continued evolution of the job market. The momentum for skills-based hiring continues to grow (McKinsey 2024) With a projected population increase to 400m in Nigeria by 2050, there is a strong sense of urgency to address this gap now to secure the future of young people and ensure workforce sustainability.
6Cs platform bridges the gap between schools and employers. Awarded Edward Level 1 by Educate Ventures The EdWards | Professor Rose Luckin's EDUCATE | England (educateventures.com) for its potential to transform future careers. Our inclusive peer-to-peer web platform helps students transfer learning from the curriculum into the workplace. We focus on developing teamwork, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills to required for success in the industries of the future. The industry exposure through tackling real-world activities with their peers ensures students are 'work ready’
Our inclusive web platform provides the opportunity to maximize students’ potential through the rich exchange of diverse perspectives and talent. . We believe that the inclusion of diverse teams into the workplace is a powerful tool for economic growth (added £24 billion a year, McGregor-Smith’s 2017 review). As an online eco-system and community to provide assisted learning, collaborative problem solving and introduce school leavers to potential employers, matching skills between both parties. Employers contribute to provide industry specific learning skills scenarios content that is unique to their business (this is a unique selling point for 6C’s vs other platforms).
Within the group, the platform tracks both individual and group performance. Algorithms evaluate social (teamwork, perspective taking, s) patterns (trends, insight into professional competencies and work behaviours), and the quality, ( cognitive problem solving) of interactions. (the step-by-step process of how students exchange ideas, negotiate, debate, propose solutions, and ultimately solve problems as a group is digitally recorded and provides valuable data) The digital communication log subsequently analyses interaction records. This provides valuable information about students' navigation, their steps to arrive at a solution, and the role played by each student in solving the problem. (capturing individual and teams’ overall performance as a group). They will be assessed during peer-to-peer knowledge exchange and the outcome will be recorded in a digital work-ready skills ‘portfolio’ (shown on CVs, LinkedIn, and job portals) The outcome will be shared (authorised by users) with employers, which provides opportunities to secure jobs.
This unique experience not only replicates the world of work but empowers students as global leaders tomorrow, ready to drive impactful change.
The platform's interfaces and tools for developing affordable community-based Web frameworks are easily implemented to advance collaborative learning in international settings, enriched learning through translational perspectives, cross-cultural experiences and forging new relationships. The use of innovative technologies such as AI to communicate, collaborate and identify solutions to work challenges. This pre workplace immersion leads to demonstrable significant growth in their knowledge and awareness of critical transnational issues. Assessment and reflection opportunities means students practice immediate and long-term decision-making: valuable assess in the world of work. The project evaluation rubric awards students’ bronze, silver and gold digital badges to evidence their skills competences
Our target addressable market is ‘youth’ between the ages of 16 and 24, as defined by the Office for National Statistics. (ONS). For example, in UK, young black people face unemployment rates of 41.6% during the winter of 2020 (up from 24.5% pre-pandemic), compared to 12.4% among young white people (up from 10.1% in the previous year). According to the House of Commons Library (2022), 429,000 young people are unemployed, resulting in 14 billion lost earnings (and dependency on state benefits) in the UK within the next 7 yrs. (Princes Trust and Learning and Work Institute.
6C’s provides the environment for students to develop the skills to secure jobs (evolving jobs, Campbell, 2016: 14) and retain them. Notably, our digital Workplace skills portfolio disrupts the current career industry by saving time and cost to recruit skill sets required for future jobs. Employers' access to a diverse talent pool, not only promotes employability, but saves costs and secures the future workforce. The incorporation of AI allows us to personalize learning. This enables 6C’s to customize learning pathways based on individual needs for each student. 6C’s digital skills passport provides a portfolio of evidence of employability skills which increases chances of securing a job. The development of highly skilled ‘work ready’ graduates is an economic boost. In addition, workers transitioning between jobs with the high level digital literacy and mastery of digital skills to secure jobs in the future workforce as they emerge. Our potential capacity to equip students with skills sets to thrive in the future of work is cost-effective and promotes workforce sustainability (meets current and future labour market needs as new jobs emerge) (‘Working Futures 2017-2027, UN 2030 (SDGs) sustainability of people, profit, planet, and peace) through partnership. The outputs are a reduction in employment, the increased chances to secure jobs through upskilling (as new jobs are created, fostering employees smooth transition between jobs) creates industry sectors talent pool which boosts productivity and growth. Added value includes social and economic value through the inclusion of disadvantaged groups by removing barriers to jobs. Notably, our continuous engagement with employers brings together the work that takes place in schools to equip students for the future. This provides insights into career pathways whilst employers contribute to new talent growth. The liaison between academia with industry ensures a coordinated response to diminishing the chronic skills shortage. (ManpowerGroup: Great Realization 2022). Social benefits include the development of well-rounded citizens which positively contributes to students’ mental health. Empowering youth as global ambassadors of change to collectively propose solutions to world challenges such as climate change is another benefit. 6C’s contribute to positive economic growth and work outcomes in later life (Prince’s Trust, 2016). As an economic boost to the economy, employers will have access to a high-quality talent pool for evolving jobs created. The unique opportunity to work with peers globally to find multiple solutions to global challenges. 6C’s removes the barriers to securing jobs and tackles economic inequality.
- The founder has over 25 years of experience in education quality assurance such as Ofsted Inspector, School Improvement Consultant, and School Progress Advisor) she has been actively involved in challenging schools, college leaders, and governors about the impact of strategic actions, programmes, and initiatives on student outcomes. 6C’s delivering impact is the bedrock of 6C’s product design development and testing.
- With an MA in Special Education and Inclusive studies, and inspired to act due to the gaping inequalities I witnessed in the different countries I worked in, 6C's goal is to harness technology to promote gobal employment equality. This is why 6C’s platform offers a personalized (responsive to each student’s learning needs) and industry sector’s needs. By offering individualized needs, 6C’s levels the playing field and remove the barriers to securing jobs. We provide personalized, holistic skills development tailored to individual’s needs and specific industry sector preferences. A thorough assessment of the current knowledge and skills of a student or a group of students, determines specific areas for development, particularly in alignment with the industry sectors of their interest. A customized learning journey, designed according to individuals’ conditions and needs, maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the programme. Ongoing assessments inform the next steps and award certificates upon completion of their learning journey, which meets individual training requirements. With assistance of three MA interns, we are currently liaising with schools in Ghana, Nigeria and UAE to further extend pilot 6C's platform and use the outcome of the pilot to further refine 6C's platform. The next phase of the platform will include a translation feature to ensure meaningful engagement of users across the globe.

We have participated in Educate Ventures Accelerator Programme and completed a theory of change. This resulted in extensive research, research proposal and subsequent testing with 40 university students in the UAE, 6th form students in the UK which led to 6C's Edward Level 1 Award. Awarded Edward Level 1 by Educate Ventures The EdWards | Professor Rose Luckin's EDUCATE | England (educateventures.com)
We subsequently developed our prototype (with Brunel University) and have undertaken series of mentoring and training (UCL, Barclays Eagle Labs, London Business Hub, AceelerateHer). Dr Fang Wang senior lecturer in Artificial intelligence assisited 6C's with the prototype. We actively engaged with five exective leaders of multi academy trusts, sixth form colleges association in the UK headteachers in Ghana and Nigeria and head of Barclays Careers as part of the stakeolder group. This allowed us to dig deeper into the students' requirements.
We have participated in UCL EDtech labs accelerator and currently undertaking a DOHE Accelerator programme to simplify the students' learning journey and improve user engagement. We have also been awarded the following:
Finalist London Mayor’s Competition 2022
Finalist Santander Competition Awards (Diversity Equity and Inclusion)
Barclays Black Founders Accelerator Programme Participant
Semi Finalist AccelerateHer Awards Exceptional female founders named in AccelerateHER Awards shortlist - AccelerateHer
Tackling the global chronic skills shortage requires a multi stakeholder engagement to inlude policy, (education curriculum review) academia, employers in diverse industries and students. Therefore, we urgently need strategic partnership with employers as industry training partners' to provide industry specific case sceanrio projects for students to undertake within our platform. Our collaboration with employers allows us to align our programme to diverse industry sectors (boost productivity) which opens students to a wide range of career pathways (promote global equity). We strongly believe that MIT Solve paves the way for a stronger collaboration through MIT's collaborative expertise and further research development and knowledge exchange. Furthermore, it prepares us for the export pathway through our established connections to Germany, Netherlands Switzerland, Ghana, and the USA The partnership between investors, academia, and industry sectors is a gateway for global expansion. The unique collaboration with Barclays, MIT outstanding track record innovation specialists, and students ensures a multi-sector involvement in shaping future careers.
Secondly is the technical expertise (to include all functionalities as well as connect to employers) to ensure product market fit, build and successfully manage an inclusive workplace skill preparation and jobtech web platform with capacity to take massive population of students across the globe. Although 6C's is rooted in research, our web platform builds on the Assessment and Teaching of 21st Century Skills (ATC21S) future of work metrics (undertaken by Cisco Intel, Microsoft, and 60 world leaders in London in 2008), we have found it challenging to identify a simple approach to facilitate students learning within the platform.
Thirdly and crucially is the assessment of student skills as they collaborate within the platform. We have contacted ETS Research, Princeton, NJ 08541 and they shared with us that it has taken them 10 years to figure this out but the cost required is out of our scope.
6C's has taken on a huge challenge and it has been a long journey to keep refinning to ensure that the platform is impactful.
As a lifeline for 6C’s, the funding helps to secure further investment required to accelerate growth. Without the funding grant, 6C’s will not be able to complete the project, launch and grow or gain the traction required to secure further investment to fast track a ‘market ready’ strategy. The grant facilitates the partnership with Brunel to include AI functionalities, which will be impossible to access on our own. The partnership adds immense value to commercialize the project and grow at the scale (to enter new global markets). Without securing this grant, we will not be able to complete the project or ensure market reach. Without the grant, we will lose opportunity to implement our global growth strategy to attract new clients from Switzerland, Germany, and USA where 6C’s has generated global interest.
Building our team to include highly skilled expertise for 6C's team industry specialists experts is required. We also need business support, business model, revenue generation model.
- Business Model (e.g. product-market fit, strategy & development)
- Financial (e.g. accounting practices, pitching to investors)
- Human Capital (e.g. sourcing talent, board development)
- Legal or Regulatory Matters
- Monitoring & Evaluation (e.g. collecting/using data, measuring impact)
- Product / Service Distribution (e.g. delivery, logistics, expanding client base)
- Public Relations (e.g. branding/marketing strategy, social and global media)
- Technology (e.g. software or hardware, web development/design)
Using real-life problems (provided by employers in different industry sectors) students work with their peers to propose solutions to workplace problems. Our web platform delivers a real-world learning experience that equips students with teamwork, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills, (skills that today’s employers require) required for success in future industries.
Our initial (phase 1) focuses on sixth-form students by equipping them with ‘future-ready skills’ in a fiercely competitive job market. Our solution disrupts and transforms the ‘broken’ career industry. The difference between 6C’s and alternative solutions is the students’ portfolio evidence of acquired soft skills through the ‘digital workplace skills passport’ and the collaborative feature. This distinctive feature keeps us ahead of our competitor's uninspiring online modules without soft skills or collaborative development features.
Existing platforms lack sufficient educational support to validate the quality of training. Competitors such as Unifrog and Skillsbuilder offer a ‘one-size-fits-all’ disregarding the diverse needs and individual needs of students and industry sectors. By contrast, our proposed work will be better than the competitors by providing educational support which personalizes learning to meet diverse needs. Software algorithms capture the live data of students' progress, award credits, and record in a digital skills portfolio The e-passport connects employers to a ‘work ready’ talent pool. Our e passport positions 6C’s as the champion in the career industry as no other provider focus on skills development to enable students to demonstrate their soft skills on their CV.
The outcome of individual skills assessment within the platform is recorded in a digital work-ready skills ‘passport’ Our project aligns with the Ofsted framework, Gatsby Career Benchmarks, and Education Alliance Finland).
Live data of students' progress, tracked via our unique digital skills portfolio (which grants employers access to a high-quality talent pool) provides evidence that students are ‘work ready’. With prior consent, candidates connect with employers. The unique access to candidates' digital ‘work readiness’ profiles is efficient and saves time and money. Notably, it mitigates against the potential loss of 14bn in lost earnings within the next 7 yrs. (429,000 unemployed young people in 2020, Princes’ Trust data). (shown on CVs, LinkedIn, and job portals. These assessments are the basis for planning and award of students' work-ready skills portfolio.
Theory of Change

Sustatainable Goals 4, 5, 8, 10. We track the number of users by age, gender, geographical location, economic background and social status. This provides us a breakdown of users, accessibility to gauge problems of bandwidth, acesss to equipment, and measure our impact. For example, we have reached out to organisations such as global telecommuncation providers to support us with a labtop recycling initiative to enable disadvantaged groups to access laptops and mobile phones. Our mission is to ensure that our workplace skills digital portfolio is acessible to every student/jobseekers across the globe. By upskilling youth, we track the number of students, graduates, and jobseekers that we equip with skills and place into jobs. We assess students pre -test and post test to evaluate the impact on their skills as well as liaise with executive leaders, principals, employers to share data of the impact metrics that we have on stdents skills development, life chances and economic levels. We track levels of partcipation with assistance from college leaders ensure meaningful participation and remove barriers to engagement through reasonable adjustments such as bigger print and colourful billboards to ensure that our users meaninfully participate. We need further support to build a platform with the capacity to include millions of users to extend our reach across the globe. We have a clear roadmap to upskill and reskill jobseekers transitioning between jobs with newly required skills as new occupations emerge as 85 million jobs will be lost, and 97 million jobs will emerge due to technological advances by 2025. (World Economic Forum, Mckinsey).
Our roadmap
Phase 1 short term (Current project)
Ensure students are well prepared for the world of work.
Sixth form students collaborate with their peers locally and internationally to resolve problems encountered at work such as meeting deadlines, checking projects compliance with industry standards.
Phase 2 medium term- Obtain accreditation from Education Alliance Finland
Bespoke industry specific professional competencies.
Identify pilot corporate organization such as Banks and construction sectors to prepare industry specific professional competencies that is required to succeed in their workplace.
Identification of different industries of the future and dialogue, audit of competencies required for success in these industries. 6C's to work with each industry to devise professional frameworks per industry to assist companies to attract high talent.
Phase 3 Long term
Upskill and reskill workers transitioning into jobs as new occupations of the future emerge which require a fresh set of skills.
The platform is a personalised holistic work-ready competences development platform web-based, portable platform with educational support, personalised training and dynamic progress tracking and assessment.
The collaborative equip students with work-ready skills, thereby better preparing them for the workforce. While a limited number of platforms currently exist, such as Unifrog, Uniform, and Mastery, which provide skills building for colleges, careers, and life, they suffer from significant drawbacks. These platforms lack sufficient educational support to validate the quality of training and they usually simply provide a one-size-fits-all approach, disregarding the diverse needs and requirements of individual students and industry sectors. As a result, employers, teachers and students often express dissatisfaction with these platforms, leading to a lack of motivation and low user engagement.
The platform overcomes these challenges by offering personalized, holistic skills development tailored to individuals’ needs and specific industry sector preferences. Following a thorough assessment of the current knowledge and skills of a student or a group of students, determining areas for development, particularly in alignment with the industry sectors of their interest, the platform encompasses a comprehensive list of essential skills identified by various stakeholders, including employers, teachers, educators, educational researchers and students. A customised learning journey design according to individuals’ conditions and needs, maximises the efficiency and effectiveness of the training.
Tracking, assessment and feedback play crucial roles in successful training delivery. Existing skill training platforms often fail to accommodate these needs, as highlighted by stakeholders in the interviews conducted as part of 6C's prototype build. In contrast, our platform provides comprehensive tracking features using software algorithms, monitoring the progress of each task and comparing it to the personalized learning journey. The tracking mechanism informs both students and teachers about progress, offer suggestions for improvement, and enable adjustments to the learning plan when necessary. The entire learning journey is dynamic, adaptive, and progressive, catering to the unique requirements of everyone. Live data of collaborations are gathered by software alorithms to award students' credits in teamwork, problem solving and digital literacy skills which is documented in 6c's digital workplace skills portfolio.
Accessibility features on the platform promote user access on multiple devices. (Different bandwidth and speed in different countries) Other accessible features include translation options to facilitate the global reach by students anywhere in the world. This includes multi-step authentication and implementation of our rigorous data management by our Chief Operating Manager.

I have been working on the project for over three years, which has included extensive intensive research, participation in three accelerator programmes, business mentoring, workshops, competitions, training, stakeholder engagement, seminars, stakeholder engagement, interviews with students, teachers, lecturers, school leaders.
Regular meeting with stakeholders, monthly reviews, meeting with Innovate producing quarterly reports for Innovate UK, IP Management, IP protection, and legal advice sessions to ensure IP Protection.
6C's was born from the inspiration to harness technology to promote global edcation equality, through enriched peer-to-peer knowledge and skills exchange. We strongly with the UK government's Working Futures 2017-2027’ Equality Diversity and Inclusion strategy. The disparities in access to jobs, opportunities, and training are highlighted in the McGregor-Smith Review. 6C’s web platform is responsive to this review for by making a clarion call for urgent action (‘Time to Act’ to tackle the 62.8% ethnic minority employment rate compared to for White workers of 75.6%). Our diverse team includes black people and ethnic minorities.
There is an immense talent that is being wasted which could be pooled together to propose solutions to world challenges. Our supportive learning community is inclusive and removes barriers to job opportunities. The project will be of immediate benefit to sixth-form students. 6C’s vision is to promote global education equality and a sustainable workforce. (UN 2030 Global Goals for Sustainable Development: sustainability of people, profit, planet, and peace. The inclusion of everyone’s skills (2017 makes industries more efficient by pooling diverse skills and expertise. Beyond the UK, there is the potential for mutual international skills exchange through access to our diverse skilled workforce.
6C’s platform design and build sets the precedent that the incorporation of diverse voices in decision-making as a powerful tool for economic growth. The leam leader's work experience and master's degree in Inclusive Studies provides a unique insight into best inclusive practices.
Our web app translation feature means that students learning English as an additional language can meaningfully participate. In-built functions are responsive to ensure access by students on different devices bandwidth, and speed, enabli them to connect with peers anytime, anywhere, and everywhere in the world. Ensuring accessibility in graphics, colour, font image, and culturally sensitive language, ensure that our content is accessible by everyone, anytime and everywhere. Bringing together diverse perspectives to provide workplace solutions used in the community communicates the value of diversity. We assist students to embrace diverse perspectives and strengthen a culture of belonging. As an advocate for underrepresented groups, (all are welcome) 6C’s levels the playing field to secure jobs.
6C’s goal includes building an inclusive team that shares a common vision to secure a brighter future for young people by creating a safe space where all are welcome (and can be the best they can be) In recognition that Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is an ongoing process, our DEI policy includes clearly defined goals and performance metrics which are reviewed regularly to measure impact. Carefully built-in checkpoints monitor the impact of actions taken on the creation of a thriving community. This includes actively implementing inclusive practices through unique recruitment. (As a diversity and inclusion champion, leaders from Ghana participated in our stakeholder discussions in May 2023 and are supported by Barclays Eagle Labs, a Diversity Supplier to ensure that no one is left behind.
Our business model is a business to business model.
Current Education’s ’Teach to the test’-knowledge acquisition rather than skills development Care et al.’s (2018) is not fit for purpose, Rather than promote economic independence, it does not prepare students for a career) leaving students with a bitter financial legacy- Student debt tops £160bn. Furthermore, there is no strategic or robust plan to prepare the current labour force for a seamless transition to industries of the future. Furthermore Mckinsey’s 2019 report found that by 2030, two thirds of the UK workforce would be lacking in basic digital skills, with 10m people under skilled in leadership, communication, and decision making. The career industry is characterised by sparse applied leaning opportunities, disjointed training programmes which does not meet diverse needs of learners.
This skills gap, alongside a broken career industry places 6C’s at a unique advantage because we have conducted extensive research to meet the demanding and the evolving features of the global labour market in anticipation of a global workplace skills gap and the continued war to attract talent. With the UK facing a huge skills gap by 2030 Industry Strategy Council and 7m additional people predicted to be under skilled for their job requirements, there is desperate need for action. As a response to this need, 6C’s is on a mission to ensure that young people become future of work ready (by ‘Putting their Education to Work’) in preparations for successfully transition from education into work. 6C’s market entry is timely, due to the desperate global workplace skills gap and talent scarcity.
Connecting candidates and employers, saves time, money, boosts productivity and promotes workforce sustainability. Aligned with UN’s 4th and 9th sustainability goals, it removes barriers to employment for all, including ethnic groups. The peer-to-peer knowledge exchange means in better decisions through pooling of diverse ideas. From an industry perspective, employers’ access to high-quality work-ready talent pool contributes to a stable workforce. 6C’s talent continuum offers value not only for technical skills but also soft skills such as flexibility and ability to adapt. 6C’s focus on skilling youth helps to tackles the disconnect between education and jobs. Our solution tackles the workplace skills gap (McKinsey 2021) and has a demonstrable impact on diminishing the workplace skills gap and improving the quality of life due to the social, economic, global benefits as well as contribution towards the achievement of UN’s sustainability goals. . The interdependent approach inspires a cross fertilisation of ideas thereby promoting leadership and globalisation, in a disruptive digital transformative labour market.
In 2020 in the UK , there was £2 billion (House of Commons Library) underspent on Plan for Jobs. There is a compelling rationale to use this money to enable more unemployed people to access the help that they need to secure jobs. Our links with Sixth Form Colleges Association (combined student population of 160000students), students at Brunel, Bedfordshire, provides us with a market.
- Organizations (B2B)
We have bootstrapped, used money for savings, and are currently actively making applications for grants through Innovate UK, Mastercard Education Fellowship, MIT Solve and seeking funds from Angel Investors. We secured £5000 Innovate funding voucher which funded our co design of our prototype with Brunel University.
The outcome of robust metrics at pre and post test results is a marketing tool to show 6C’s impact. Following a free month’s subscription period, a 10% discounted paid annual subscription will be offered to pilot participants. Multi Academies’ Trust CEOs, college principals have expressed interest in our product. Mentored by Barclays Eagle Labs Innovator, (Steven Roberts, Strategic Transformational Director) we are in discussions with Barclays to enhance their Careers and Graduates programme. We have undertaken a Trademark search and are free to operate. We have a robust overseas entry. Our go-to-market plan facilitated by links with DIT Africa, GTM global informed our overseas markets strategy We have connected with sixth-form colleges in Ghana, (aided by DIT and the British Council) Others such as private colleges in Switzerland, assisted by GTM Global, Innovaud, and Scottish Development international are keen to adopt 6C’s product. Following initial virtual mission to Germany, Switzerland (facilitated by AccelerateHER) and North America (Facilitated by GTM Global), we have a well-informed plan (compliant with the regulatory process) region. Our action plan includes regulatory steps from Thorelli attorneys, accountants’ tax, and banking.
We will also generate income from coprorate employers such as JP Morgan and Barclays, where we have mentors. We are in discussions with them to provide them with bespoke competency framework to assist with recruitment of candidates required for their internship and graduate programmes.
6C’s project has been carefully sequenced in a three-phase plan with each phase’s leading to the next one. At phase one, (a gateway to career pathways) the early intervention skills builder approach adds value to education experience, (which improves employability. At phase 2, the sector specific work with employers enables access to a pool of talented workforce, resulting in more attractive job offers. Phase 3 promotes retention of people transitioning between jobs (as new jobs emerge) through 6C’s upskilling and reskilling. By leveraging partnerships between schools and employers, we address the disconnect between education and available jobs. (Prospects research.
