Uganda is gifted by nature with two climatic seasons that favour farming to flourish. The population of Uganda is 45 million of which 70% is employed in Agriculture which is the biggest forex earner for the country. Products like coffee, cocoa, cotton, tea, fruits & vegetables flourish very well.
Farmers face challenges of post harvest wastage and transportation from the farms to either the market or storage / warehouse.
The product we are building is meant to solve the above challenges so as Agro-logistics is seamless and swift.
1. VISIBILITY
The farmer and commodity trader is able to monitor his goods during their journey from loading to destination. Tracking is either done by GPS gadgets or the drivers smart pone.

We provide GIT – Goods In Transit & Marine insurance to cover uncertainties of loss due to theft, fire, contamination and damage of cargo while in our possession
3. PAYMENT
Transport pricing is done in real-time & the farmer has flexibility of paying for the service by either using mobile money or debit card.
4. E-COMMERCE
Our digital integration will allow farmers and manufacturers systems sync to the drazo platform to enable automation hence smoothen their last mile supply chain processes.
5. DATA SECURITY
Farmers & commodity traders are assured of data security as information that is uploaded on the platform is kept safe from business competition. Activity on the app is stored for future reference.
6. Flexible
The farmer will be able to select from a variety of logistics tasks on the drazo platform. For land freight all types of trucks are available 24/7 ranging from refrigerated, open, high sided, containerized trucks and motorbikes.

- Prototype
We have structured the BPM - Business Processes Mapping and produced a prototype ready to be initiate a pilot for the mobile app.
1. Technology
We shall fully digitize our operations to help farmers take control of their supply chain. This will include actualizing the prototype into a functioning app + managing inventory and assets. We shall operate high speed secure servers to manage the digital transactions.

For long-term logistics contracts, drazo shall pay the Transporters cost of freight on behalf of the farmer and we bill them for a later date pay. Cash flow is key in quick operations in logistics.

Drazo will aggressively embark on sales promotion & marketing of its services to farmers or those in the Agro industry. This will cover print media, voice and digital channels
5.Warehousing
We intend to lease or procure dry & temperature controlled regional & central warehouses to collect and distribute farmers produce.
6.Asset Acquisition
To manage our end-end transport operations, we need to run a temperature controlled and dry capacity fleet to transport our clients produce.

Once a farmer or consumer of agricultural produce posts a job on the platform, the truck owners lodge in their bids –hence the client gets a competitive rate. For every haulage on our platform, we guarantee backhaul so that the trucks don’t have an “empty run” after delivering the first trip. This cuts down on the cost of fuel and driver mileage which trickles down to the cost of doing business by the client. There will be less idle time or downtime for trucks - VAS
We add value to our truck drivers businesses by selling to them discounted fuel, tyres, engine oil, truck insurance, trip financing and the monthly truck service. We guarantee continuous cargo allocation to their trucks.

We have been working on this solution for the past 3 years since 2021 during the lockdown.
Our core management team is made up of two males and a female with a combined experience of approximately 60 years in various fields.
The 4 key departments of Finance, Commercial, operations and human capital are headed by extremely competent and expert individuals
Our services range from Airfreight, Seafreight, Roadfreight, customs clearance and warehousing.
We currently operate a broker business model but when the app is more operational and is adopted completely we shall adapt the commission based business model
