Children Abroad

This solution will create a critical thinking and a sense of wanting a social chance on children who live in a São Paulo's Favela. Staying and growing in an environment of poorness, probably does not create willingness to change the community. Basically because those people have never experienced another reality and society.

It proposes to provide a trip abroad to children who have an entrepreneurial profile to a developed country. It will wake up this desire of changing and put some light to the darkness of their minds about what a community really has to be.

After this solution be successful in São Paulo, it should be implemented in other poor societies over the planet.

Changing is never an easy thing. Neither get ou of the conforte zone. Specially if you have never seen and experienced different situations.

Putting a child who always heard the same things of his/her relatives ("you live in a favela and always will live", "this thing is not for us, it is just for the rich people", "our place is here") in a developed society will show him/her the way his relatives live is not the right way, they could build and live in a better environmental.

The sooner this chock is created, the sooner the future of this population will change. Because this inhabitants will not grow agreeing with their reality. They will battle to change their society, studying, promoting discussions and doing whatever they can.

The program is not only provide this trip abroad. After this, professionals will develop the children's ideas and wishes along their youth.

This solution is based on the population of São Paulo's Favelas. They live in an inhumane environment, without basic needs provided and with no perspective of success.

It will create a wish of changing in the children population and they will grow with this objective of improve their societies.

The solution is divided in three phases:

• 1. Recognition of the children's profiles.

With a professional help, the children's profiles will be defined. The children with an entrepreneur profile will participate in the second phase.

• 2. Trip abroad.

The children selected in the previous phase will travel to another country that has a high social development. There, they will do some cultural activities, play some sports, visit some key places and know other local children.

• 3. Activities after the trip abroad.

Back to their community, lots of activities will be planned to pass the knowledge acquired to other children.

Besides this, professionals will help with the growing of those children, mentoring their decisions and guiding their to the final objective: improve their society and the "Favelas" do not be "Favelas" any more.
