We aim to address the problem of excessive energy consumption in households, specifically during everyday activities such as showering. This problem is crucial and results in higher electricity bills for consumers but also contributes harm to the environment. Our product will assist in the lowering of these bills’ costs.
Our solution centers around revolutionizing the traditional shower head technology by integrating a small turbine within it. This turbine harnesses the kinetic energy from the flowing water during showers, transforming it into electricity. By doing so, our innovative product not only offers an enhanced shower experience but also contributes to energy conservation. This product coupled with the right tools can reducing household electricity bills in millions of homes across the world.
Our product EcoShowr is a showerhead designed to reduce energy consumption and electricity bills for homeowners and residents in many cities. The shower obtains the kinetic energy of flowing water and converts it into electricity, being a sustainable source of renewable energy.
This benefits many households with various income levels and ultimately helps families and the environment in the long run. Ecoshowr caters to environmentally active individuals and organizations trying to minimize their carbon footprint. Our product will ultimately reduce our reliance on non-renewable energy sources and help combat climate change.
Ecoshowr contains a small turbine within the shower head which generates electricity from running water. The product then uses simple mechanics to convert the energy into electricity. This innovation will help save on many electricity bills and help reduce an environmental impact.
Traditional shower heads currently prioritize features such as style, comfort, and water pressure, neglecting the overarching problems caused by expensive monthly bills. The integration of the product in the lives of low-income families will help change the usage of countless utilities and home products.
Our team comes from the small cities of India where we have encountered many homes and families where access to electricity is limited or close to none. Our team designed this product while keeping in mind the impact these individuals could have with the help of this. By integrating electricity generation in our simplistic daily routines, we could provide for thousands and also make the world a greener place. Being close to the economically disadvantaged families in New York, we believe our team has the best chance of connecting young individuals with the product early on. A friendly cost effective plan will certainly alleviate some stress from their setting and easier to pay more important bills. Our young team has the time and connections to make this a reality and are ready to take action.

- Concept
We have built nothing and conducted absolutely zero testing of a prototype that we do not have. At this point, this product is simply a dream of ours that we hope to one day benefit all of humanity.
We face all the general challenges of bringing a new technical product to market, where we have to make a new manufacturing process, sell the product, etc. However, the greatest barrier to our product is indefinitely the problem of customer adoption, as the showerhead market is saturated and has seen little innovation in the past 100 years. "If its not broke, don't fix it" is a mentality that traditional players use here, and customers follow. To increase the adoption rate and consequent success of our product, we must market ourselves to please customer demands and educate them to adopt this better product--the ideal demographic for this would likely be the younger generation (e.g. linguistic changes in language are brought about by the youngest generation; when boomers tried to popular the word "chaugal" it never came through, but Gen-Z slang has become prevalent.
