Human thermal comfort is going to be a big challenge and current technologies aggravate the climate change rather than providing a sustainable affordable solutions.
In India, this is a USD 1.5Tn market with folks requiring 950Mn units in next 30 years for cooling. This directly affects around 148 countries that lie between 42 degrees N and 42 degrees S where heat waves are continuing to increase.
Current solutions use compressors that use harmful refrigerants and create urban heat island, further complicating the issues.
Affordability and climate appropriate solutions are the need of the hour and we are a positive scope 4 platform and have a direct impact on energy use and CO2e avoided that can be independently monitored.

Our first product is the AMBIATOR 5TR which can cool a space of 750 square feet using only 1 unit of energy, this is 80% lower than the most efficient current technology available in the market today. It is a climate appropriate technology for hot/dry regions - that's about 70% of India and is Solar ready. It doesn't use a compressor or any harmful refrigerants and the technology is called dew point regenerative cooling technology. It is a positive scope 4 platform. It is climate appropriate for hot/dry regions across the globe.
Cooling is a problem for 148 countries across the globe. Given the impact of climate change this number is likely to go up. It has a direct impact on lives and livelihoods. We are starting with India because it is diverse, large and there is an urgent need for alternative cooling technologies. Any built environment in the hot/dry region can deploy our current platform with a direct impact on energy savings and climate change.

We have 2.5 years of prototyping journey to create our first product AMBIATOR 5TR. This is now designed for manufacturing - we have the supply chain sorted to make multiple units. We have 6 paying clients who have bought a total of 11 units so far.
Education - we need more people to know about alternative cooling technologies that are affordable and better for the environment. How can we do this frugally and at scale - this is a question we wish to solve for by joining this programme.
Funding - this is a large problem statement and while there may be various solutions that may come up, we need to urgently look at affordable cooling technologies that can provide a large impact and this can be done by unlocking capital at the right stage.
Global expansion - as mentioned earlier, there are about 148 countries that need this solution right now - how do we license to scale this?
Research grants and testing facilities - we have identified partners and a solution with material sciences that would make compressor based systems obsolete and we need the right partners to bring this to a commercially viable stage soon.

We don't use compressors or harmful refrigerant to cool.
We use significantly less energy when compared to current cooling technologies.
There are interesting business models that become apparent like cooling as a service and licensing that would allow us to scale across geographies.
The technology uses a 0 GWP refrigerant and can also run on solar which makes NetZero cooling a possibility.
This technology could completely change the conditioned air market for human thermal comfort by directly replacing it with a technologically advance and climate friendly solution.

We formally created the entity in October 2022.
For our product - AMBIATOR 5TR - we started prototyping it since June 2021 and have a designed for manufacturing product ready for scaling up now.
Merit is the first thing we value in the firm. Keeping this in mind we are happy to share that our largest vendor has a 40% women employees with policies that are inclusive. While they are not employed directly under us - we are happy to support and give business to such entities that are inclusive.
The primary reason for starting this firm has also been to provide affordable cooling solutions for the underserved. And in some of our business models like cooling as a service - we are encouraging securitization and offloading the CAPEX to provide community cooling centres for villages and new affordable housing so that everyone has access to human thermal comfort.
We're starting with a B2B model.
These are direct sales to small/medium/large businesses that need a better cooling solutions either at the design phase or retrofit an existing solution.
Another channel that can be activated is a distribution network of cooling solution providers across high demand areas.
We are only selling a single product - AMBIATOR 5TR. This along with an annual maintenance contract from year 2-6.

We understand that unit level economics should be viable in order to sustainably grow and have a social and climate impact. This is the primary reason we have kept the gross margins for our product at 60% and for the annual maintenance contract at 90%.
We are building the IoT device to monitor CO2e avoided, energy use etc. as well.
The funding is required for growth - we have gone from 0 to 1 and 1 to 10 and the next journey need capital to unlock the next level of growth.
