Problem: non availability and affordability of early childhood education options in rural india

Gap in learning outcomes of rural schools and those in Urban areas

Solution: Tech enabled affordable and accessible option through community involvement

Impact: this can improve the lies of millions of kids in rural areas with no access to quality pre schooling with better academic outcomes and school preparedness and higher income and improved economic status of kids from bottom of the pyramid families    

We are addressing the challenge of non availability of early childhood education option in the rural and semi urban areas which results in poor learning outcomes and school readiness of kids in these areas and thus leads to unemployment or poor economic status 

Bottom of the pyramid population with lower economic and social status, kids of uneducated parents who are daily wage earners and wish their kids for better future through education and better skills

Making education available, affordable in the hinterland to prevent migration to urban areas driven by the education needs of parents with poor economic status at the same time stemming urban migration through provision of employment in rural areas through our initiative  

Most early childhood education options are Limited to urban areas, there is no such facility available for under privileged kids in rural area, this results in poor learning outcomes and no academic achievement by such kids and poor employ ability. 

Our Initiative is to provide affordable early childhood initiative in rural area in the neighborhood involving teachers from local community and the school operator from the same locality.   

Our tech solution is App based education and monitoring by centralised academic resources, wherein academic coordinators at base will manage all operations based at HO 

affordability, accessibility and availability of options for the target population of economically weaker section coupled with their aspiration to improve their plight will ensure that the problem of improved academic outcome will be addressed

we have around 500 students whom we are imparting early schooling as part of our initiative and we engage 50 teachers and support staff at 7 locations in Rural India these are all locally available talent and hence we are not at all encouraging employment related migration  

To aim to be able to cater to at least 10000 students in 50 villages in next years

Capital for scaling up, marketing through awareness creation and getting more local partners. We need more and more motivated foot soldiers to work in filed and create awareness regarding the benefit of early childhood education and its overall impact on the community and economy of the local area 

We have been trying to increase our reach by making people aware of our initiative and also educating people as to how they can get associated with our venture and contribute for a just cause and thus help their community and also the kids in the local area apart from from socio-economic benefit

NO we are pure commercial venture with social objective and economical return, we may not generate stupendous financial returns but it will contribute to improve the future employ ability of rural kids through early schooling and making them school ready and through improved learning out comes and academic achievement

The Team is having on hand experience of handling the education business with successful implementation.

 The founders have worked in education verticals of large corporate and have done extensive field work 

No we have no tie-up with any organised players, our venture is being incubated at Indian Institute of Management Calcutta innovation Centre and we are one of the incubatee company with no financial support but tactical support and a place to operate 

Our business model is based on self operated rural Pre-schools with local partner on revenue sharing basis.

We charge a very nominal fee less than quarter of a dollar per day which for a month equals one days earning of Parents, apart from affordability we are concentrating on accessibility by opening schools in remote locations so that no child is deprived of opportunity to access early schooling in the vicinity at a very affordable rate.

The fee-for-service model of social enterprise commercializes its social services, and then sells them directly to the target populations or "clients," individuals, firms, communities, or to a third party payer.

To look for inputs to make our model robust, scrutiny by experts and also to see if any social venture fund or impact fund will be interested in supporting the initiative

We are looking for partners who can contribute to make our strategy robust and also guide us in increasing our geographical reach

Organisations in the field of education and also impact investors who can help us increase our reach through impact investment and also give us inputs as to how we can further improve quality of education in rural areas and serve as many families as possible  

AI is not used by us at present but it can be used to zero in on maximum impact locations and also for curriculum management, planning, implementation and monitoring.

Also AI will help us monitor the progress of each kid centrally and give feedback to teachers thus help us improve the efficacy of our academic content delivery.

Yes, our venture involves local community in all our schools and employ only local female workforce. This is for female empowerment in rural areas by making them economically independent through employment in neighborhood by imparting specially designed training from academic experts who are experts in the area of childhood education.

This gives them learning opportunity and increases their self worth at the same time improves the plight of a rural family through employment    

yes, we will use it for expansion, the money will help us to expand our reach and invest in manpower and the development of human resources which will further enhance our service delivering capability and increase our out reach and target population that we plan to serve
