From 2011 to 2021, renewable energy grew from 20% to 28% of global electricity supply. Use of fossil energy shrank from 68% to 62%, and nuclear from 12% to 10%. The share of hydropower decreased from 16% to 15% while power from sun and wind increased from 2% to 10%. Biomass and geothermal energy grew from 2% to 3%.
Our approach will allow us to increase the electricity generation using water energy by more than 2 times.
Energy water flow after hydroelectric power station
A water turbine in hydroelectric power station rotate with large speed and have a large diameter. When hydroelectric power station work huge amount water run through it.
Underwater turbines, turbines for creating excess pressure instead of deepening of draft tube (canal for draining water after the hydroturbine) or water wheels might use for electricity generation.
The efficiency of such devices is small (20-30%), but they are relatively cheap and can be installed several one after the other or in a checkerboard pattern. Also such devices can be install on rivers with big flow speed.
Using wind wave energy
We take a piston pump with a diameter of 6 meters
We place a load weighing 3000 tons on top , so that this load has positive buoyancy.
Under the influence of waves, such the pump will work.
The weight of the load will create a pressure of 11 MPa - this is enough to raise the water 100 m.
We install a 5000 m3 tank at an altitude of 100 m (water battery) from sea level.
The pumps and the tank are connected by pipes.
From the tank, water flows down pipes to turbines - that genegate electricity.
For shut-off valves, it is necessary to use check valves that will operate on a pressure difference.
With a wave height of 3 m and 20 pumps, this design will have a power of more than 50 MW.
Nuclear and fossil fuel power plants cannot be started up piecemeal.
These projects can be implemented in parts.
Energy water flow after hydroelectric power station
Currently, hydroelectric power plants are mainly used to compensate for the lack of electricity production in the electrical grid.
Increasing the power of generated electricity will improve the quality of life and will make it possible not to build new electricity generation capacities.
Using wind wave energy
Using the energy of wind waves, we can increase the generation of electricity. This is especially true for islands. If we build batteries based on compressed air in conjunction with thermal batteries, we can meet the electricity needs for the islands without using of fossil energy.
Now in Ukraine, after missile strikes by the troops of the Russian Federation, many fossil fuel power plants have been destroyed. It will be necessary to restore the energy infrastructure. The development of the proposed approach will make it possible to build infrastructure on new principles.
We have ideas and a common vision of the process being presented.
We understand that each hydroelectric power station is a unique object. Therefore, it requires an individual approach.

Therefore, it requires an individual approach.
The proposed concept is very ambitious both in terms of finances and technological solutions. For quick and successful implementation, the cooperation of many companies and government support is required.
We believe that MIT is one of the leading scientific and technical organizations in the world and its opinion can influence decision making.

Now, the flow of water after hydroelectric power stations and on rivers with high flow rates is not used to generate electricity. This will give a big increase in electricity generation.
The need to create batteries to store excess electricity will contribute to the development of this industry.
The implementation of 1-2 projects will be an example for others.
This approach will reduce the use of fossil fuels to generate electricity.
Increasing electricity generation will accelerate the transition to electric vehicles.
The generation of electricity from wind waves depends on weather conditions, so it will be necessary to build batteries to store excess electricity.
The transition to using electricity will require modernization of the electrical grid.
The implementation of 1-2 solutions will be an example for others.

We are looking for energy sources to increase electricity generation.
This can be achieved in two ways: increasing the efficiency of current processes or using new sources.
Using the water flow after a hydroelectric power station is an increase in efficiency.
Using the energy of wind waves and installing underwater turbines or water wheels in sections of rivers with a fast water flow is the use of new sources.

I came up with using water wheels (one after the other) when I looked at the half-destroyedthe dam of the old voluntary mill (48.03282072968471, 30.88133047996686) in 1998.
