AUTOMATIC INFECTION DETECTOR FOR CHILDREN
Research shows that the increased rate of deaths of children fewer than 5 years is due to weak body immunity caused by various factors the most common one is infection. It could be a blood sepsis or pneumonia which highly disturbs the baby's body defense mechanism and eventually leads to the child losing his or her life
The automatic infection detector is a watch like device that simply aims at detecting body infections in order to try and resolve the ongoing problem across the globe. an increase or decrease in temperature of a baby for a continuously long time could be a common sign of fever, similarly it is normal for a child's heartbeat to rise or fall from time to time to the Child's activities for a long time but when the pulse rate of a baby child is abnormal for a long time it could most likely be an infections and this lowers the body immunity.
In Africa almost 1.1 million children loose their lives due to infections this leading to a few population making it above five years ,most of children loose their lives due to weaker body immunity that cannot sustain infection for too long a child being incapable of speaking once they feel uneasy not understanding that they are facing infection something that delays treatment hence leading to death
massive death cases are reported through out the globe according to WHO approximately 5.6 million children below five years loose their lives due to infections,hence this facilitate in decreasing the man power in the society
According to WHO the major infections that contribute to at large to child mortality below five years include
- malaria
- blood sepsis
- pneumonia
- malnutrition disease
The project directly aims to help the children aged between 0-5 years to easily access treatment by early detection of infections by an automatic infection detector ,Its our hope that this will fasten treatment of the child at early symptoms of an infection and hence will enable a child to access treatment in time and hence reducing vulnerability to death of the child
We are looking forward to educate parents on how to operate a watch like detector that a child wears as a bracelet on hand ,the detector comes in hand with a well designed mobile app through which a parent ca review child's heath status and keeping medical records of the children.To a child the LCD is programmed such that when not activated by the parent a child will be capable of using a brace let for gaming this will enable to draw the child's concentration and always to wish to have it hence this will catalyses the bond between the detector and the child.
An automatic infection detector is aimed to help the world to combat (reduce)early child mortality caused by lower body immunity that results from infections .Hence this will enable a large number of children to make it above five years,building a large population with good health and well being this will facilitate large number of children to join education as a large population will be capable to make it above five years
An automatic infection detector is the aduino based project where it comes in hand with a well designed mobile app that displays information provided by sensors on the detector.The device consist of temperature and pulse sensors aiming at measuring the body temperature and pulse rate of the child ,temperature and pulse being the major common symptoms of infection in child hence at any instant of infection invading the body the pulse and temperature of the body are altered presence of an automatic infection detector being a watch like model will blink alert and send a cost-less message to a parent once the infection is detected to a child ,once no action are taken the detector will make a free call implying that the child is at high risk
For portability and management by the child the model is made to be a watch like detector hence we are looking forward to reduce its size into a bracelet size ,a bracelet that can cheaply be accessed by citizens at all economic levels through out the globe because this is the global challenge.

Automatic infection detector for children is portable and easy to handle this aims at fastening treatment of young children
This aims to provide a coordination between a parent and the child as a parent can reveal child's health status even when he is away from home
The device can be accommodated by people of different economic levels as we are looking forward to reduce production costs.
Automatic infection detector is an Arduino based project where temperature and pulse sensor are coded at a normal range for a child then in case of any deviation the device will notify the parent
also the device has a GSM module that enables a parent to detect the actual location of the child when in need.

We are high school competent students of Ilboru High school among the special schools in Tanzania ,we have exposure to computer languages and web designing this gave us courage save the world on decreasing the rate of child deaths below five years.
we are looking forward for this opportunity as it will create curiosity of innovation among the Tanzanian scholars .
