We solve the problem of feeding cows efficiently and also the methane emissions by cows. Our problem is global, that means a lot of people are affected, but in my country cows and the agronomy industry are the core business so for that we have more contamination than other countries.
Our solution is an additive based on seaweed that can reduce methane emission and also reduce the food that cows need.
Our solution impact specially on agronomist because they need less food than before and also they can compite for green bonds. But, by reducing feeding costs, we can decrease costs throughout the beef value chain and that impact on a lot of people who consume that product.
Also, the reduction of methane emission improve the life of people in Argentina.
Our Team is conform of 3 people, one in business and two other in biotechnology, we work as one but any of us have a different ability and work.
I am Lucia from business and I work with agronomist in Santa Fe, Cordoba and Uruguay sometimes, we try to search different solutions to the problems which appear constantly. And also, with my university we look for new programs or talks where we can change ideas with people who are inside the agronomy industry.
On the other hand, Gonza and Fer are the biotechnologist who are in charged of producing the algae and try to make it more efficient, also they work with scientist and farm people to introduce the product and try it in cows.
we know how the market works and also we are in touch with important people of this industry.

- Concept
We are in the concept stage because we are having troubles to import the seaweed because it is not common in Argentina, also in my country exists a lot of conditions and barriers to bring something that is not common.
Apart of that, we have a lab and we are looking for other solutions with chemical compounds. Also, we have connections and people who are interesting in try our product.
We only need to find a solution to bring the algae.
Our project is a biotech project, so for that, we need money and also connections with global people who can be interested.
Argentina is a big country but people here are not used to innovation so we need help to cross the cultural barriers and introduce us into the market.
We think that Solve can not only help us with a financial investment, also can help us to make partnerships around the world and make a really important brand which can compite with the old companies who are contaminated our country.
- Financial (e.g. accounting practices, pitching to investors)
- Human Capital (e.g. sourcing talent, board development)
- Legal or Regulatory Matters
- Product / Service Distribution (e.g. delivery, logistics, expanding client base)
- Technology (e.g. software or hardware, web development/design)
Our solution is innovative because in Argentina we do not have any natural solution to intestinal problems of cows. Also we provide a product that can compete in price and effectiveness meanwhile we take care of the global warming.
Our solution can have an important impact on the chain of this industry.
We can reduce 95% of the methane emissions that means we can almost reduce our contamination, improving a more healthy life to agronomist or people who live near to the feedlot. Also this people can buy and sell green bonds, resorting to financial investment which are less invasive than a bank.
Also our product reduce the price of the meat, so people are benefit with more competitive prices, and for who produce meat, they can offer their meat to countries which are looking for products with zero greenhouse gases.
We have both financial and non-financial objectives. Within the financial goals, we aim to reduce the price of beef, measured by market rates, and also to save costs for agronomists, analyzed by comparing initial and final cost structures. Additionally, we are focused on carbon measurements. In Argentina, there are companies that measure methane emissions on farms; we would collaborate with them for assessment. Furthermore, we aim to gauge the impact on welfare resulting from emission reduction. This is based on accessibility to our product, carbon offset bonds, and the volume of pollution reduced
Our core technology is based on the productive process, we are looking for a solution to the scale problem, our scientist are trying no find out how to grow up the algae in less space or in less time.

full time staff: 3 people
less than a year
we are 2 men and 1 woman of different ages, one man has 39 and the other is 35 and the woman is 22 years old.
We are looking for more people who introduce to our team and we have any problem with diversity and equity.
Our business model is based on a B2B approach, where we aim to collaborate with strategic partners such as companies producing balanced feed. We recommend incorporating our additive at a concentration of 0.25% to 0.5% in the normal feed formulation, with a target selling price of $1 per kilogram.
Our production process begins with reproduction, where the plants resemble small cotton-like spores floating in containers. After they mature, we transfer them to bioreactors, and after 40 days, we harvest them, dry, and process them into powder, resulting in our final product.
In terms of our market, we are focusing on four states in Argentina—Santa Fe, Buenos Aires, Entre Rios, and Cordoba—where there are over 25 million cows consuming more than 300 thousand tons of feed.
Our value creation starts with the current situation of an agronomist. Currently, an agronomist spends $75 to feed a cow during 100 days. By investing only 4% of that amount, or $3, the agronomist can save 12% of the food, reducing the cycle from 100 days to 88 days and also reducing methane emissions by almost 95%.
To achieve this goal, we are seeking an initial investment of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to acquire assets such as ovens, bioreactors, and other machinery, as well as to establish connections and partnerships within the value chain.
- Organizations (B2B)
We want to start with a small company of food or pharmacy which with we can have a solid partnership and starting to try our product. After we have the feedback of this experience we want to start with the state of Santa Fe, and produced for feedlots there, trying to scale the production of the additive and increasing our clients. When we finish with Santa Fe, we want to expand our business to other feedlot of others states such us Buenos Aires, Entre Rios and Cordoba.
We want to have a good relationship with farmers but also with the companies who are supplying this feedlots.
For that we need an initial investment of 250.000 dollars and after we are going to need more investment rounds to continue the scaling of the production.
ROI: 21%
Recovery period: 3 year
TIR: 67%
VAN: USD 12,124,000
After that, we dream with expand us to Uruguay and Brazil also could be Chile, they are countries where the agronomic industry is really important.
