Pinnacle Day Care & Pre-School
Pinnacle Dayal Care & Pre-School seeks to address the challenge of lack of development in the areas of early childhood development. This is a critical space in children's lives, which is formative and determines future success. Most children in Sub-Saharan Africa face what medical practitioners term 'stunting' -a phenomena that affects not only the physical development but also the mental spheres and later replicates to other facets of life.Through educational, nutritional and social interventions offered by the Pre-School ,Pinnacle seeks to provide solutions that fight stunting and enhance full growth development initiatives to children.A generation that achieves full growth increases chances of future successes for children. This will enhance socio-economic results ,something that Southern Africa at large is seeking.Technological advancement and resulting efficiencies cannot be left out in this equation.

Botswana has a fairly good socio- economic environment. The staff compliment is diverse in nature and composes of professionals with vast experience in running an ECD centre. Our board gives guidance and oversight in terms of legal issues.we are also not only serving the community but are part of the community hence we understand the variables that are at play .
The Police and a few primary schools which are in our chain of production when children graduate. The local library is also a partner. These are program implementing partners.
We use the Asset Based Community aproach. Our business model is built on working on practical and tested approaches. The community forms the sea in which we both fish and feed back into.We hope that through community buy-in we will share the outcomes of the model with other people who are interested. The model is open source hence community assets are very important.
We contribute monthly as custodians of the idea. Our board also contribute.Children who are attending contribute 30% worth of expenses in form of fees. The rest will be raised through fundraising. We have approached the local political leaders for help.
We would like Solve to help us sharpen our ideas into international standards .How to run an organisation.
we also would like to access partnerships that will expose our idea as much as possible. Link with other organisations and individuals.
We also would like to receive start up and operating capital to create more resources that will help to grow the organisation.Access to funds.

We would use this prize in involving a reputable research organisation to help us to research and publicise (where allowed and possible) the findings in a journal that can be red locally, regionally, nationally and hopefully internationally. it is an opportunity to tell the world about the story of Africa, Bostwana, Tati-Siding (in that order)
