The smart feeder that: measures, predicts, and applies solutions
Vetkiosk, a smart feeder, can innovate by providing real-time data on animal health and medication usage, enabling more accurate surveillance of antimicrobial resistance patterns. Its automated data collection capabilities streamline the process and ensure the availability of timely and comprehensive data.

Lack of Precision Dosing: Traditional methods often rely on manual dosing, which can lead to inconsistencies and inaccuracies in medication administration. This imprecision not only affects the effectiveness of treatment but also contributes to the development of (AMR) by potentially underdosing or overdosing animals.
Absence of Treatment Documentation: Many veterinary practices lack comprehensive systems for documenting treatment procedures. This results in a lack of standardized records, making it difficult to track which animals received which medications, when treatments were administered, and at what dosages. Without proper documentation, it's challenging to monitor treatment outcomes and assess the efficacy of medications.
Inadequate Monitoring of Animal Progress: Following medication administration, there's often a lack of systematic monitoring of animals to evaluate their response to treatment and detect the progress of the animal, any adverse reactions or complications.
Lack of Structured Data Integration: Veterinary practices typically collect a wealth of data about animals, including their sex, size, breed, and medical history. However, this data is often stored in disparate systems or formats, making it challenging to analyze and derive meaningful insights. Without integrated, structured data, veterinarians may miss opportunities to identify patterns, optimize treatment protocols, and improve overall healthcare outcomes.
Target audience: Mostly dairy farmer from the Cordoba province in Argentina.
Support: remote daily monitoring (device sensors + talk with farm operators), monthly farm visit.
Understand their needs: permant comunication, mesure customer experience score in progress
Enganging: report and discussion monitoring animal performace evolution. we have a 100% renewal of agreement.
- Growth: An initiative, venture, or organisation with an established product, service, or business/policy model rolled out in one or, ideally, several contexts or communities, which is poised for further growth

We plan to have a layer of hardware (our feeders), about 100,000 for 2030, and over that will run many other layer of software and products. Everthing will be connected to the cloud. Part of that information will be public for research, startups, and farmers.
Just one example:
We can identify certain disease, antibiotic tretment, animal target, animal evolution, etc. With that we can publish the antibiotic that are working better.
Farmers that are using Vetkiosk: will be the one that at first hand know wich antibiotic is working or not. Not only because the precise data from his/her own farm, but also from the network. Impact: change antibiotic, combinae with other, performa resistance lab trials.
Veterinary Laboratories: diagnostics and industry will be abble to access this data. Diagntocis will be abble to cross information with the resistance detected in the lab conditions. Impact: creat more accurate reports or services.
- Next year we will have 600 devices installed by the end of the year
- In 3 year time we will have 2000 devices installed by the end of the year
Today everthing is related to our closest goals
- Animal adoption: Number of animal eating on Vetkiosk/nro animals on the heard
- Feeder performance: number of hours out of service per week, etc
- Customer experience: agreement renewal
Impact
- ATB performace: type of antibiotic, brand, dose, etc/animal recover
- Argentina
- Brazil
- Chile
- Paraguay
- Uruguay
1- Scalability of the operation: how are we are going to be abble to manage all the devices remotely. This means technical skills
2- Expantion: Latam: find good partners. Softlanding in USA to make a global company.
3- Finance: Grant/equity money.
- For-profit, including B-Corp or similar models
Feedvax solution is focus on the whole process of aplication veterinary products. Prevention alternatives (vaccines and antiparasitics) has low penetration in the market. Only 14% of cow are vaccinated for clostridium in USA. The market focus was always focus on the users, Feedvax focus in the non user as well.

That said, we want to make a real change in the animal farming, we really need antibiotics to work, so we need to take care of them. We belive that with our oral vaccines on one side and our data from Vetkiosk we can contribute to the solution.
One Health: understan in a broader way how we can contribute
MIT: to improve the hardware, software and AI solutions.
Any organization that helps us do the softlanding to the USA.
