Farmercology : Creating great impact with smart and simple efforts
Sustainable change in agricultural by bringing research institutes closer to farmers while we monitor disease trends in humans, especially those that have a direct correlation with agriculture from local, state and national level with a view to assist with global focus drive to end preventable disease spread through simple approaches

Drug-resistant bacteria in Nigeria
According to an online journal THE CONVERSATION We found that about 85% of the bacteria isolated from infections were resistant to the most commonly used antibiotics. So, without laboratory data, the most frequent choices of antibiotics would probably be ineffective.
Antimicrobial resistance – the ability of microorganisms to resist drugs that have been developed to control them – is a severe problem in African countries. The continent has the highest global burden of antimicrobial-resistant infections, with 114.8 deaths per 100,000 people.
One of the causes of resistance is inappropriate use of antibiotics. Using the wrong antibiotic to treat an infection enables resistant bacteria to flourish and spread. Our goal is to provide a system that reduces the the spread by reducing the frequency of resistance especially those that emanates from acts of ignorance while carrying our agricultural practices. We intend to achieve this by giving physical and remote consultation to farmers through AGROMATHICS while they carry out their day-to-day endeavor and monitor encounter flash point through EMIIS. EMIIS is an Electronic Medical Record that standardizes disease classification, appends patients demographic data and assist with diverse Decision Support System at hospital within farming communities.
Our main target are farmers and general citizens in Nigeria and beyond. The goal is to cause a positive and sustainable change in agricultural practice by bringing research institutes white papers closer to farmers physically or remotely and affordable cost while we monitor disease trends in humans, especially those that have a direct correlation with agriculture from local, state and national level with a view to assist with global focus drive to end preventable disease spread through simple approaches like education, prioritizing hygiene, reduction of domestic and agricultural pollution etc.

FARMERCOLOGY provides public good in the form of knowledge, data, services, products, and other configurations by bringing Agriculture Research Institutes closers to farmers to stop their accidental errors during production. Most farmers would rather choose a better route if they are guided by professionals before their probability approach to deciding best drug for the occasion kicks in. It also helps to secure and improve the health status of people living in farming communities and general health status of the country through effective health information management and introduction of agricultural best practices. The standard way of documenting findings at Hospitals or care centers WHO - ICD11 significantly reduces wastages incurred when other key players often have to start from the scratch when data is not standardized and repositories are designed running paper questioners
FAMERCOLOGY impacts on your target population by bringing Agriculture Research Institutes closers to farmers to stop their accidental errors during production. Most farmers would rather choose a better route if they are guided by professionals before their probability approach to deciding best drug for the occasion kicks in. You would recall that a farmer is provided with a subject matter specialist that helps him or her to improve methodologies or traditions at Realtime. This is achieved onsite or remotely thus one specialist can serve many from the comfort of his room thus reducing cost and risk to life especially considering the current insecurity in Nigeria by leveraging on technology. Many researchers often turn down trips to remote farms due to fear of being kid napped. Our Philosophy is hinged on the belief that if we can stop self medication and improve hygiene in handling and production process, chances are that the rate of AMR related encounters would drop significantly. It also helps to secure and improve the health status of people living in farming communities and general health status of the country through effective health information management and introduction of agricultural best practices.
According to our cutting edge analytic result, it is estimated that the novel application revenue is set to hit a minimum of 500,000 million naira within the first 6 months of its official launch. Please note that this projection is
not hinged on goods production often bedeviled by several uncertainties in Nigeria e.g. epileptic power supply, scarcity of forex, poorly implemented policies, local and foreign economic betrayers etc but rather sales of much needed agro information intelligence at affordable service fee by subject matter specialist.
Our projection within the next two year is to bring on board at least 10 million farmers. This would comprise of farmers with small home and office gardens, rural subsistence farmer to farmers with very high commercial production volume and land infrastructure. These projections are expected to grow steadily within the next 5 years as we spread our tentacles beyond the shores of Nigeria particularly into the West, East and South African territories due to their vast agric potentials.
We have a data forecast of not less than 5 million from prospective home garden farmers across the country although the source of this FAQS may transcend Nigeria due to the global reach of the internet.

So what's our plan to monitor and evaluate impact? Due to the mode of operation of FAMERCOLOGY, the AGROMATHICS module directly influences the famers since their day-to-day activities would be guided by specialist thus preventing the anomalies from happening in the first place. On the other hand, the EMIIS module gives an impressive dashboard analytics showing disease burden concentration with GIS integration thus it is easy to track farming activities within such location and position intervention strategies at health care center with every action guided by equity distribution of resources.
EMIIS performs automatic indexing of disease episodes. It does not just categorizes diseases as totals but rather groups according to age brackets of victims. This means substitute drugs are not wasted

We consider them as tasks
financial: Our Initial setup cost is quite capital intensive , as it requires the setup of a datacenter .The good thing is the fact that or product and services has the ability to become self sustaining within a very short time through sales of much need agricultural information to a vast number of farmers who have literarily longed for such avenue
Technical: Once we setup the data center and go live, we would go into maintenance and outsourcing with tech companies like IICT. This would reduce the need for so many in house staff. In addition to this we would have a partnership with major PTOs - telephone companies in Nigeria thus it would be easy to reach out to off-grid farmers and other customers riding on existing infrastructure
legal: Most of our activities with our clients would be setup on healthy MOU terms not less than 2 years to allow the business grow
cultural: Local penetration through language, engagement of natives and existing research institute architecture.
policy, or market, : Access though farming associations & Government
education gaps, and cost: Continuous education of staff & cross pollination through partnership with research institutes
- For-profit, including B-Corp or similar models
Funding: it is no news to anyone some anomalies going on in Nigeria at 28 percent interest rate, it is evident that no meaningful activities can be achieved on research especially from loans and out-of-pocket expenditure
Acceptance of solution locally because of foreign endorsement: Why this phenomenon is strange in advanced countries like America, UK, Germany, France etc. Most African countries e.g. Nigeria would often believe the efficacy of indigenous product when advanced countries endorse such innovation or suddenly see that the stone that the builders rejected has been given a major grant with international celebrations
Sourcing of foreign exchange to import sophisticated equipment: This is one of the biggest challenge ever. Nigeria lacks this thus major manufacturers are simply closing their businesses. In a novel research like this, there is the need to bring in a lot of sophisticated gargets that can help speed up the time needed to get results from analysis of samples either on the farm or at the hospital. This is the key indicator in measuring our successes or failures thus preventing assumptions
Need for foreign Trainings : knowledge improves daily thus cross pollination of ideas especially from advanced societies is a major game changer
It is often said that no one is an island of knowledge. Furthermore no matter how good an idea is, it can certainly be better through cross pollination of brilliant tips, collaboration, financial injection, vibrant media and social connectivity all over the globe etc. This is what the paragraph “What do selected solutions get?” Seek to provide and we are very interested in this opportunity to take our novel innovation to the next positive level. MITSolve initiative is looking for solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues and we believe that our team at Agrometrix multinational Limited is best poised to address some in the area of agriculture.
We would love to initiate, accelerate, or scale your solution with partnership from the following organizations due to their global track record, Vast resource power to educate specifically in Tech and global recognition of their endorsements
MIT :
Bill and Millender Foundation:
Ellon Musk
WHO - World Health Organization
Other partnerships in Nigeria will be automatic when the above organizations endorse FARMERCOLOGY e.g.
