We are committed to solve the problems of refugee children under five years, because, we believe, these children mostly lake the parental care. Refugee parents are either busy looking for a living for their family or they may be killed during conflicts, famines, wars ... etc.
The solution we are proposing is an advanced application that uses various technologies, like AI, machine learning, big data to provide the children a curriculum that helps them entertain and develop and compensate a nearly full percent of the required parental care. The application will drive a full description about the child to its parents or whoever is in custody, providing them what they should do or buy for their children.
With over 41.8 million refugee all over the world, if the app is applied on a worldwide scale, it will rise a generation of refugee children that have a full developmental care and mental health.
The first thing that comes to the mind of Arabians when you talk about children is the refugees. Countries like Syria, Lebia, Palestine, and Somalia are in a rigorous situation that forces their citizens to immigrate to other Arab countries where they are not familiar with anything. According to UNHCR, there are 70.8 million individuals have been forcibly displaced worldwide as a result of persecution, conflict, violence or human rights violations.
Our solution is an interactive mobile application that provides a curriculum based on questions answered by the parents about their children. The application is not only interacting with the children, but also with their parents to inform them of the child current state and its needs. The most significant factors that affect the curriculum is the parents state, their nationality, and their resources.
Our solution starts with Egypt refugees as it also helps the parents to know where they can find the best help for their children. When the application is launched globally, it will compensate any refugee children and help their parents to quickly recover from their misery and live a normal life in their new homes.
Our solution has two targets, the children of the refugees since there is great chance that they don't receive the crucial care for their development, specially one of the parents is dead. The second target is their parents, the application AI will give them details description of their child state providing them with their child problems and the prospective solutions.
As a start, the application will be serving the refugees in Egypt as it's familiarizing the children and their parents with the life in Egypt. Fortunately, as Arabians and specially Egyptians, we meet tens of refugees everyday which means that we have great sample of people to work on, Currently, we are collecting information from offline meetings with some refugees and from the internet to develop the best curriculum for the users.
The needs of refugees doesn't change a lot from country to another, they basically need mental care and financial one. Thus, our app will cover the parental care of the children early life stages through a curriculum based on their answers. Moreover, our app will contain a donations sector so it can help the users get financial assist from those who don't know or can't reach them.
Our service targets children up to five years, particularly refugees because they don’t get adequate caring and supervision leading to a lack of the normal and crucial cognitive and social development. Thus, the service is in a form of an application that interacts with children, providing them with well-thought-out engaging curriculum. The application is designed to suit children and be supervised by custodian present in refugee camps for example.
The curriculum available within the app includes appealing materials from physical task to videos in order to attract children to use them and get the upmost benefit. Also, they are devised to help them improve emotional, physical and creative thinking capabilities since the resources are laid out by children development experts.
At the very first use of the application, it is required that specific pieces of information are given about the child ,such as age, years of being a refugee, etc., that help the application know what it is dealing with and configure the most proper curriculum. While observing the child going through the course, the app will be noticing some factors in the responses of the user, for instance, time of responses and number of correct ones. This will enable the app to reconstruct the curriculum according to the progress of the child. Employing the technologies of AI, Machine Learning and Big Data while building the app will help us optimize its functionality. In other words, when the application suggests the curriculum for the child at the beginning, it will recognize afterwards, according to the child’s interaction, if this is the most convenient one or not. The next time it selects a curriculum, it will be more precise avoiding mistakes and time wasting giving the child insufficient curriculum. Moreover, the service is decided to be affordable considering the financial status of the refugees we serve.

We want our legacy to stand upon the youth. We want to give knowledge to the younger generation and be a part of changing the game. So, we aim to create innovative healthy children, because every child deserves to flourish.
We are creating social impact by creating a new generation able to interact and deal properly with the surroundings from the childhood, and able to think creatively; besides decreasing inequalities, including discrimination based on class or race, like what we do with refugees, among children beginning at birth.
Our type of intervention is a service. It is an application promoted by artificial intelligence and big data technologies purposes to enhance the overall development of children up to 5 years; specially the refugees’ children.
Besides the benefits that the children will get, the parents will get benefit by monitoring the progress of the children helping them to raise their children in a mental health way. Parents, caregivers, teachers, children specialists, refugees’ families, nursery schools and children development organizations and those who aim to decrease the barriers that face the refugees’ children will pay to address this issue.
70% of our revenue will be from the subscription, which needs to be installed to make the APP able to present the designed service including but not limited to the personalized skills development curriculum; 30% of our revenue will be from the donations done within the platform of the project.
We provide an excellent educational service to children up to five years old and that makes the business in demand for considerable amount of money. Therefore, in order to build a sustainable enterprise, we have put forth a solid financial plan by which our project is funded. The plan depends on earning money from both selling a service and donations.
Firstly, the application we provide is free to download, yet needs a subscription to be able to present the designed service including but not limited to the personalized social skills development curriculum and creative thinking enhancement materials. The subscription is processed by parents and renewed for each level the child is going to enroll in.
The other source for money supplying is donations done within the platform of the project. It will be available to whoever wants to grant money for the project and goes directly to supply the businesses with the money needed.
The two paths are run simultaneously to help the enterprise continue providing its services. The money collected is allocated for maintenance of the app, research and improving the service.
