Promotion of sexual reproductive health in Mali
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are a common source of health problems in the region and increase the risk of HIV transmission. Unprotected sex with different partners puts people at high risk of contracting STIs and HIV. In Mali, women and young people face the challenge of early pregnancies. Teenage pregnancy is linked to many other problems, such as unemployment, dropping out of school, unemployment, exclusion from family and community.
1. Develop appropriate educational materials, such as brochures and posters, on sexual and reproductive health issues, to distribute in schools.
2. Organizer of classroom information and awareness sessions, led by experts in sexual and reproductive health.
3. Facilitate group discussions and debates among students so that they can ask questions and exchange opinions on sexual and reproductive health issues.
4. Organizer of training courses for teachers to raise their awareness of sexual and reproductive health issues and give them the necessary tools to address these subjects with students.
5. Establish partnerships with local health centers, youth associations and other relevant organizations to provide health and counseling services to students.
Develop educational programs in schools and high schools in intervention areas, focused on SRHR, to reduce stigma and promote understanding of communicable diseases and unwanted pregnancies. These programs must be culturally sensitive, multilingual and easily accessible.
The total target of this project is 2000 girls directly and 1000 girls exclusive. We believe this solution will impact the lives of women, girls and boys in the following ways:
Positive change in health behaviors: Education and awareness campaigns will lead to positive changes in health behaviors, such as practicing safe sex, seeking early medical care, and adopting health-related practices. healthy hygiene.
Confidence and coping skills: supporting pupils and students with tools and methodologies to avoid unwanted pregnancies and communicable diseases. These accumulated activities help individuals to better meet the challenges of overwhelming social and educational inequalities in the country.
Reduction of gender-based violence: Comprehensive SRHR programs will address issues of gender-based violence and promote healthy relationships, thereby contributing to a safer and more secure environment for women and girls.

For the next year, the impact of the project is to improve the knowledge and behavior of adolescents and young people as well as their families and communities, as well as to work with service providers and relevant institutions in the field of SRHR in the region, in order to be able to make informed and self-determined decisions regarding choice of partner, possible pregnancies, sexual preferences, without stigma or disadvantage, or even persecution.
Furthermore, also strengthen the economic empowerment of adolescents and young people and the overall objective is to enable them to acquire technical skills that will enable them to better meet their own needs (and those of their families), particularly in food material, through its production and transformation. Very limited access to finance and assets for adolescents and young people will be addressed, as these are fundamental requirements for the sustainable development of successful business models. This will also have a positive impact on SRHR since, for example, child and early marriages are used as coping mechanisms for families' economic constraints. Furthermore, as productive and successful adolescents and young people, they can also serve as role models for other adolescents and young people and also contribute to a more positive perception of young people, and here in particular adolescent girls and young women. in the social field.
1. Better awareness and understanding of sexual and reproductive health issues among students.
2. A reduction in risky behaviors, such as unprotected sex, among students.
3. Increased access to sexual and reproductive health services for students.
4. Un environnement scolaire favorable à une discussion ouverte et à un soutien mutuel entre les élèves concernant les questions de santé sexuelle et reproductive.
Our approach will be based on educating girls on the understanding of sexual and reproductive rights, providing them with tools that respect the social environment and giving them the means to carry out awareness campaigns on sexual and reproductive health. Here's why we think it will make a difference:
Education and materials: By teaching girls how to manage their menstrual health and providing them with reusable pads, we ensure they have the knowledge and resources to stay healthy and comfortable during their periods.
Youth Leadership: Training girls as youth ambassadors for SRHR not only empowers them but also multiplies our impact. They become advocates for sexual and reproductive health in their communities, helping to break stigma and create open discussions.
Parent-child conferences: Challenging cultural taboos through parent-child dialogue sessions paves the way for communication about sexual and reproductive health. This promotes understanding and support within families.
Community Endorsement: Involving local leaders, parents and organizations ensures that our project is embraced and supported by the community, increasing its effectiveness and sustainability.
The project will overcome gender issues and strengthen an innovative approach aimed at building on inclusion that will involve everyone, regardless of age, sex, gender identity and gender expression in Mali particularly in the school.

JDWS has three business models, including:
1- Providing low cost but high quality humanitarian services, this means that our economic model must remain profitable in the use of resources, but that more resources are allocated to the vulnerable population.
2. JDWS already has a list of assets to support this project, which will add significant value to this project and thus reduce administrative costs. It is a business model that improves the sustainability of projects and ensures effective operation and coordination to provide humanitarian services to the target population.
3. A strong business model in the resource mobilization process to raise funds locally and externally to complement an existing business and in this project the same approach will be used to mobilize available local resources to support this project and this will help to perpetuate this project beyond. its lifespan.

Our plan to achieve financial sustainability, JDWS maintains a mix of revenue sources that align with our mission and goals. These strategies aim to cover our planned expenses and ensure the long-term viability of our initiatives:
Fundraising events: We will organize fundraising events and campaigns within our local and global networks. These events may include charity runs, crowdfunding campaigns, awareness campaigns and community initiatives to raise funds and engage supporters.
Partnerships: Collaboration with local and international organizations is essential to expand our reach and impact. We will seek strategic partnerships that provide both financial support and access to resources, expertise and networks. These partnerships may include NGOs, educational institutions, health organizations and corporate sponsors interested in supporting the well-being and empowerment of girls.
Grants and Donations: We will actively seek funding from grants, foundations, government agencies and individual donors who share our commitment to empowering girls and improving their menstrual health and reproductive rights. This includes exploring opportunities with international development organizations, women's empowerment funds and corporate social responsibility programs.
Impact Investing: In the long term, we may explore impact investing opportunities, particularly from social impact investors and organizations that align with our mission and values. This avenue will help us expand our initiatives and reach a wider audience.
Our financial sustainability plan is designed to diversify revenue streams, reduce reliance on a single funding source, and ensure revenue generated supports our mission, while catalyzing positive change in their lives and communities . This combination of strategies will help us cover expenses and ensure long-term sustainability.
