Much as 95% of the young people in Uganda have got access to the internet, most of the young people use this for social media platforms to connect with their friends for fun. However with the MediAdvocate tool we will be using the social media platforms to learn, create awareness and advocate for easy access of sexual reproductive health and rights services.
The MediAdvocate tool will be used as a social media platform that brings young people together to share their experiences learn and create awareness about the existing sexual reproductive health and rights services in the community. The same platform will converge policy makers to interface with the young people and have a way forward on which policies can be implemented in favor of the young people to help them have easy access to knowledge and services related to the sexual and reproductive health and rights.
The MediAdvocate tool is directly reaching out to youths and young adolescents which constitutes the biggest percentage of the population in Uganda with 78% out of the 45.85million Ugandans being young people. It also serves direct the policy implementers such as the government officials and others like medical personnel who work in the health facilities.
We have a very young and dedicated team which has been working with young people in the most impoverished communities who understand the problems young people are facing especially the women since they also fall in the same age group.

Approximately 500 youths and young adolescents.
95% of all the youths and young adolescents in Uganda have got access to the internet and this is mostly used on social media platforms however 85% of the youths and young adolescents have limited access to the sexual reproductive health and rights services.
However with the mediadvocate tool we are able to bring youths and young adolescents together, bridge the knowledge gap about the existing sexual reproductive health and rights services,share their experiences on our social media platforms in regards to the limited access to the sexual reproductive health and rights services and also make them interface with the policy makers or implementers together with the medical personnels working in these facilities. This will address the knowledge gap thus escalating easy access to sexual reproductive health and rights services.
More than 95% of youths and young adolescents have rightful knowledge about the sexual reproductive health and rights services.
Approximately 98% of youths and young adolescents have access to sexual reproductive health and rights services.
Atleast 97% of young women know their sexual reproductive health and rights.
Policies in favour of youths and young adolescents implemented in regards to access to sexual reproductive health and rights services.
The MediAdvocate tool will expose the loop holes in the medical fraternity and other service providers which are making it hard for the young people to know about the Sexual reproductive health and rights services and also to have access on them.

We have 8 in total of the fulltime workers with only three permanent workers at office.
We have been working for now a period of six months where we have been getting young people within the community and bring them on our panels being used as a platform for them to air out their views to the policy makers on how best services can accessed by the youths and young adolescents such as the twitter spaces.
The MediAdvocate tool is for all the youths and young adolescents regardless of their social or economic class, religious affiliation or gender identity.
The MediAdvocate tool is a social media platform being used by Women's Love initiative to address the challenge of knowledge gap among the youths and young adolescents about the sexual reproductive health and rights services which in the end will lead to an improvement in easing access to the sexual reproductive health and rights services.

The innovative exposes the young people to social survival skills and successfull enterpreneurs will be tasked to give back a 10th to the the MediAdvocate tool so as to keep benefiting others.
