Feminine hygiene for women

We are addressing the issue of body odour that affects women from adolescent age which is when apocrine sweat glands get activated. Normal antiperspirants only reduce sweat output but they do not kill and suppress odour causing bacteria (staphylococcus hominis and it's enzyme C-T lyase) like pur deodorant does. Our product is aluminum free and works with the power of mandelic acid to disrupt the optimum ph required for staphylococcus hominis to convert odorless sweat into smelly by products (thioalcohols).

This solution is effective against anxiety sweat and is a robust solution for those in high mobility working conditions such as blue collar workers, it is also gentle enough for sedentary lifestyle individuals and private parts.

The issue of odor affects 47% of adult females of menstruation age and it is often misdiagnosed for more serious issues such as bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections. This simple solution works to guarantee confidence during the day and reduced need to go and freshen up more frequently. 

With up to 48 hours of odour protection, it allows those who lead busy lifestyles to go about their work without being offensive to those within their proximity in the olfactory sense.

The deodorant works by killing the odour causing bacteria called staphylococcus hominis and denatures it's enzyme C-T lyase making it unable to convert odorless sweat into smelly by-products (thioalcohols)

The product also contains tapioca starch which reduces sweat output.

It is powered by mandelic acid and sodium benzoate. 

Mandelic acid loweslrs the PH of the skin to 3 so that the environment is not optimal for the bacteria that causes odour to operate

Sodium benzoate has an anti bacterial effect which kills and keeps the population of bacteria low

my target market is women of adolescent age, sexually active women, women who are considered overweight (with thigh folds), equestrians (who wear closed boots), sedentary lifestyle women, women and men who work in high stress level conditions and blue collar workers.

They currently have limited options for odour control such as antiperspirants which only work to reduce sweat output with aluminum chloride and deodorants that mask the bad odour with fragrance. These products only work for the underarm l.

Our solution is a robust system that works to actively kill and supress odour causing bacteria as well as reduce sweat output. It can also be used on any body part.

i have done a great deal of market research in Facebook groups and in my community to identify this problem.

I am also confident in my product because I suffered from hyperhidrosis and anxiety sweat which led me to finding a solution for myself. I have found great relief and success in the product and so have the clients who have tried it.

I have also listened to the criticism on the product weaknesses and from that have been able to make improvements i.e. texture

women have often been misdiagnosed general bacterial overgrowth for yeast infection or  bacterial vaginosis. This is because the private area has the same apocrine glands we have in our armpits so generally staphylococcus hominis is present and can convert sweat into smelly by products. 

Our deodorant works on private parts and every other part of the body. It is robust yet gentle. 

We use the effective power of mandelic acid which lowers the ph of the skin in the areas of concern to disrupt the optimal environment for bacteria to thrive. We also use sodium benzoate which has an antibacterial effect to curb the growth of bacteria after a shower. 

Our product can be used on any part of the body but deodorants and antiperspirants on the market are targeted for the underarm only. antiperspirants work to reduce sweat output and deodorants work to mask odour with perfume but our product works to actively kill bacteria, suppress its growth and disrupt the optimum environment for odor causing bacteria to grow

our project is in line with un sustainable development goal number 3 which is health and well being. We offer education on how to best optimise hygiene for women in addition to our product offering. 

We are looking to see women be more confident in executing their daily tasks without the body’s natural process getting in the way of their performance (sweating is normal but the odour that comes with it can be addressed)

We are looking to have women take active charge of matters that concern their feminine health. 

We are looking to have women utilise a more environmentally sustainable option for their personal hygiene free from unnecessary and toxic ingredients. 

our deodorant contains mandelic acid which lowers the ph on the area applied. This acts on disrupting the optimum environment for the enzyme C-T lyase on staphylococcus hominis from converting odorless sweat into smelly byproducts (thioalcohols)

The deodorant also contains sodium benzoate which acts as an antibacterial agent which kills the odor causing bacteria staphylococcus hominis and suppresses its growth after taking a shower

The deodorant also has tapioca starch which can hold up to 20 times its weight in moisture to reduce sweat output so that the odor causing bacteria has no product to break down into smelly byproducts (thioalcohols)

This results in women staying fresh and dry for up to 48 hours without having to freshen up or take a shower

It allows for the freedom of movement because there’s no odour coming from areas of concern such as between the thighs, in the armpits, the bum and when wearing closed shoes

we have a hybrid business model that offers product and services as well as social responsibility programs that seek to improve the feminine health of women of the underprivileged demographic 

Our deodorant offers long lasting odor protection while generating revenue from which we take proceeds to benefit the women at Harare Hospital Maternity Ward with postpartum care hampers. the women need these hampers for a smooth transition from giving birth to being fully healed without complications that are avoidable 

We stay financially stable from product sales as well as donations from non profit organisations that support the cause

We also host events where we raise funds through donations 

We are also looking to get government assistance for the cause
