Saffy water purifier

We are developing an innovative technology and a unique design for an eco-friendly low cost water purifier using bio filter to purify contaminated water for drinking purpose. It is meant to be flexible, compact and reduce our plastic consumption, making it an inseparable part of our lives.

We, at Team Saffy, are looking at bringing about a progressive change in methods of water purification currently followed in the world. Most of the existing water filtration systems eliminate the natural elements from water while purifying the same. Our inventive technique of water cleansing comprises of development of a bio water purification system in an exclusive compact design to decontaminate water for drinking purpose without altering its natural properties.

We intend to create a personal purifier which is meant to be portable, flexible and compact enough to be carried around easily for daily use. It is designed to be no bigger than a regular water bottle at an affordable price for the masses and it aims at minimizing the purchase of plastic water bottles.

Second aspect of this development we’re considering is the design which strictly adheres to the use of eco-friendly, biodegradable and sustainable materials which reduces the consumption of non biodegradable materials by a sufficient margin. The flexibility of the design is also a significant aspect of product value, making it aesthetic and not an eye sore like most of the designs which already exist in the market.

 We aspire to make our product an inseparable part of our daily lives.

As per UN research, 783 million people do not have access to clean drinking water while, in developed countries, drinking water is sold in tons of plastic water bottles daily adding to more generation of waste.

Most of the water filters remove the natural water elements during filtration process and majority of them are priced high. The current biological solutions available in this field are not reliable, it also lacks flexibility, safety and is not exploited in the market.

We  address these issues with our product which aims at making clean water available to everybody at decent prices.

We are aiming at change in the understanding of what filtration of water denotes. Usually, filtration refers to change in the property of natural water- demineralizing of water. We are looking at purification of water without altering any of its properties, just flushing out the pollutants and making it fit for drinking. We strive towards change in the conventional way of water filtration.

Our product intends to reduce the consumption of plastic water bottles and hence, lessen the waste production in the world. We opt to make this product accessible to the general mass and available at affordable prices.

Saffy hopes to revolutionize the water purification industry by providing clean water to communities that are affected mostly by pollution and areas lacking of clean water supply. Our Saffy water purifiers will be eco-friendly help reduce pollution and also help maintain the rich natural components of water by disinfecting and cleaning the water purely.

Our solution is time conscious and can be used in areas without constant supply of electricity, it comes in decent prices (affordable), it eliminates using plastics.

We, at Team Saffy, base our core belief in making clean water available
to everybody and thus,we invented a new technology to direct our belief.
Supply of clean drinking water for drinking purpose is one of the basic
requirements that needs to be addressed globally. We are looking at
solving this global issue with the introduction of  water purifier  that will serve under-served communities and everyone at affordable prices so that it can become a part of people's every day lives.

We are planning to get in touch with a local manufacturing unit for mass production of our product and sending it to various local distribution sectors making it locally available and moving onto global distribution in stage 2. Our dedicated marketing team would help in marketing the product through various channels and mediums. Our website would provide all details about our product and also be another purchase medium. The product would be priced decently keeping in mind the local and global market.

We have a team that is diverse  and experienced in different fields and all of us are working to make our solution a reality. We have started doing consultancy work on freelance basis so that we cannot be  lugged from our initial goal.As  a team we are going to be hosting workshops on our different fields so we can also raise funds to sustain ourselves and live without straining or affecting our focus on the project.

We also plan on applying for small grants to help us through the implementation phase of  the project.

We already have a manufacturing company in place but we need capital for paying our manufacturing team for the product to be a solution, we need happy employees
