- Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea.
- Idea: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea.
This is a new concept. We aim to target 1,000 small business in the first year. In 2020 there were around 16.6 million so-called “employer” small businesses in the US. Ambitiously we would target 0.1% which would be 17,000. However realistically we will target 5,000 over the 5 year to be safe but aim for the higher number.
The Small Business Ecosystem Platform (SBEP) is implemented for small businesses across the United States. Key decision-makers include founders, investors, the business development team, local government officials, small business users, mentors, and coaches. Investors influence the platform's strategy through financial support, while local government officials impact it through policies and funding initiatives. Small business users' feedback drives improvements, and mentors shape educational resources. As small businesses thrive, they contribute to local economic growth and community development. SBEP fosters collaboration and empowers small businesses, making a positive impact at the grassroots level.
GTA works with a boutique digital marketing agency. We work directly with our designer to create the digital content that can be leveraged through our own social media channels as well as our partner and network social media channels. We then work with the agency to target specific groups with paid advertising. Their experience is very important so we can maximize the spend on our campaigns.
In the past we have used our alliance and partner networks to recruit SMEs into our programs.
Marketing recruitment activity will include:
• eDM campaigns though our sub spoke entities;
• eDM campaigns through our private sector alliances in the USA (banks, chambers of commerce, insurance firms…);
• Digital marketing campaign with a digital marketing agency to target specific targeted groups;
• Targeted database outreach.
