Since 2020, several corporations have made commitments to increase their spend with minority owned businesses. Our black founders built solution is built to track and support diverse supplier partnerships and corporate impact. We also help black owned businesses scale. Also, recent Supreme Court rulings around Affirmative Action may make it more challenging to for Black-owned businesses to access certain contracts or funding opportunities; thus creating a greater need for targeted support and resources. Our Impact Opportunity Platform leverages applied research to connect corporate leaders with vetted black owned businesses and allows them to operationalize impact initiatives and track performance against supplier diversity commitments.
Our solution directly aligns to the challenges business development and procurement as well as data and impact.
According to McKinsey Consulting, corporations pledged about $340 billion to drive racial equity between May 2020 and October 2022, $141 billion of which has come in the last year, between May 2021 and October 2022. However, most commitments have been difficult to track. Our equity score allows more transparency into investment data.
We also firmly believe that equipping corporations with data and access is vital to fostering an environment where Black-owned businesses can thrive. Our technology will reduce barriers of entry for Black-owned businesses nationwide and impact driven companies, creating a dynamic ecosystem that fosters mutual support and growth.
