Tripple I-G-E Movement

- Business development & procurement: Connecting small business owners to vendors, suppliers, and networks that will transform their ability to do business.
- Employee advancement: Supporting employee career pathways through upskilling and reskilling employees, managing employee human resources, and mid-management or mid-career advancement.

My solution is simple. I am opening an Event Center for our community. It will benefit my community in ways that most schools do not have the time, money, resources or family support due to daily constraints. My center will offer extended hours and services not offered by any other community within 50-100 miles of the 72206-zip code. The center will host events that will get our youth involved within their community and give them basic sustainable child protection, vs engaging in fighting, bullying, threats with weapons, teen pregnancy, gangs, or drugs. The Center will sponsor young ladies that range in ages between 11-21. We will use RingCentral for our phone system to keep us informed. Our integrated phone system will allow us the capability to include video meetings and a messaging system all in one. Also, fax capabilities, call recording, real time analytics, with simple set up in minutes and low cost. We also plan to install a high-quality generator called Generac. Further, we will be using the Cannon imageFORMULA R40 Office Duplex Epson wireless, desktop, color, receipt, document scanner with Management software to keep us organized and up to date on our daily debt/credits and vendor reports. I have gathered ideas from various people in regard to their ideas of having an event center in this area. I had much feedback and support. This area is in need of uplifting because it is underdeveloped. I want people to have an opportunity to mingle in a safe, gated community. This will be a one stop shop. There will be about 4 new communities going up in the area. there will be plenty of people in Saline Conty and Pulaski County who will benefit.

PHBalanced Event LLC will host events daily. This will provide youth and young adults a place to go when they are out of school, afterschool hours and during the summer months. The Center will be represented by a group of young ladies who will Ignite the flames and passions of others, by being innovative thinkers in the community, by always taking the initiative. Taking the initiative is thinking proactively and acting independently. The young ladies will be leaders, peer counselors, peer facilitators, hall monitors, trail guides, etc. They will also work in the Salon/Spa for an opportunity to display their talents. The Triple I-G-E Movement will allow the young adult ladies to rely on their judgement, make good choices, and to go the extra mile on given tasks. Further, taking initiative shows confidence, responsibility, and motivation.
We will leverage technology by changing the game from past event centers in the area or lack thereof, by implementing a home away from home for the community and teaching our youth to flourish in the process as we build up an environment that has been underdeveloped due to lack of a resources, knowledge, or motivation. There is a difference between practical and scientific knowledge. Practical knowledge is gained by a person through his/her experience. To gain practical knowledge, the ladies will take training courses relevant to their field. The girls will be open to feedback and healthy criticism. They will learn to become excellent communicators and set milestones to model good mothers, leaders, entrepreneurs, and bosses in today's society. They will be trained to maintain their experiences, expertise, and skill ability. Scientific knowledge is built on previous studies and tested theories. Science refers to a systematic and organized body of knowledge in any area of inquiry that is acquired using a certain method. Knowledge refers to the understanding gained through learning or experiences. It has been proven that young women's resource centers all over the world support, educate, and advocate for young women. Women are the primary caregivers of children and elders in every country of the world. International studies demonstrate that when the economy and political organization of a society change, women take the lead in helping the family adjust to new realities and challenges. The Global Role of Women-Contribution Development,). PHBalanced Events LLC will be a safe haven for our young ladies to allow them to become productive leaders in our society. We will use modern day products, services and infrastructure that are designed and built using scientific knowledge and engineering. Our modern-day technology will include streaming, internet, television and home theater, communication technology, educational technology, business technology, and biotech technology. Such as finding better ways to remedy water and making it cleaner and more efficient along with more recyclable products. (ESF M.S., PH.D. in Environmental Biotechnology, Martin Dovciak; mdoviak@esf.edu)
Other technologies for the center include data analytics and visualization. Mobile, cloud solutions, social media platforms for digital marketing. Which will allow us the capability to host virtual and or hybrid events. We will also use materials such as lawn debris and coffee grinds and filters too compost. Coffee grounds are a great addition to compost because they are high in nitrogen, organic material, worms. They help break down other materials, balance the carbon nitrogen ratio, and maintain high temperatures in the compost site. We will also compost other organic materials such as food scraps, lawn trimmings, fallen leaves, grass clippings, shredded newspapers, wood chips, vegetable scraps, hedge trimmings, faded flowers, and plant-based kitchen waste.

The people living in 72206 zip code are primarily black or African American and Mexican. The number of middle-aged adults is extremely large while the number of people in their late 20's to early 40's is extremely large. There is also an extremely large number of single parents and a smaller number of families. Little Rock is a city in Arkansas with a population of 201,893. Little Rock is in Pulaski County and is one of the best places to live in Arkansas. Living in Little Rock offers residents a dense suburban community feel, and most residents own their homes. There are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. However, nothing in the area of Interstate 530, Saline County/Pulaski County (72206) of the same magnitude as PHBalanced Events LLC. There are 49.92% white Arkansans in Little Rock and 40.89% Black/African Americans. There are 3.11% that are Asian, and 2.84% are of other race in the area. PHBalanced Events LLC will unite and cater to all races and nationalities as an attribute to equity and equality. I am engaging with the community by donating to various women's and men's shelters. We donate, clothes, shoes, toys, and blankets. We also donate food, florals for memorials, baby showers and donate our time to local organizations like the Little Rock Survivor Sisters. In memory of Yolanda Tenpenny-Pearson. She passed from health complications; however, we were able to ring the bell for her beating breast cancer in her memorial ceremony. Our center will be a place where, weekly meetings will be held to carry on her memories. There are several successful Black owned businesses in the Little Rock area such as K Hall & Sons Produce, Micky's Cakes and Sweets, and Sim's BBQ. However, just 20% of employer business are majorly owned by black women.

PHBalanced Events LLC is addressing the need to have a safe, gated facility for events. We will host various charity, outdoor activities, such as basketball, tennis, and volleyball tournaments in our community. We are also addressing the need for additional guidance for our youth and young adults who have lost their biological parents due to the pandemic or related stresses of life as we know it now as life after the pandemic. There is also a higher rate of gun violence and natural disastrous occurrences. Primarily, our nonprofit, the Triple I-G-E Movement, will focus on young women, age 11-21.
The Center Aligns with the challenge in that we plan to advance our employees/movement participants, by supporting their career path through individual kill sets, up skilling, all while teaching them leadership, financial management, and basic manors. Our Triple I-G-E Movement participants will learn to balance school, extracurricular activities, (drill teams, cheer camps) training courses, responsibilities and time management. Our Center will also teach the young ladies self-respect, self-discipline, and motivation. The idea is to give them the building blocks to succussed in today's society. We will be connecting the dots and bridging the gaps to independent vendors, suppliers, and networks that are young and local vendors and talents. We will model and lead by example to the ladies to be innovative thinkers and community leaders. We will also support our young ladies in whatever they choose as a career path. Especially, the path to Entrepreneurship and Financial Independence. We will teach the ladies to be effective office assistants and diligent in office management. A successful Human Resources department is necessary in any business small or Conglomerate. It lays the foundation for the business' success or failure.

I know my solution will have a greater impact because it will be family helping family. There are several members of the staff, vendors, and suppliers that are related and familiar with our services in one way or another. Such as educators, musical staff, electricians, HVAC Tech, stylist, floral decor, Cake Decorators, barbers, caterers, photographers, dump truck operators, plumbers, landscapers, carpenters and all the way down to the land clearing contractor. The framework of the center will be providing jobs withing the community as well as giving back according by services provided. Due to the number of single moms and working family households in this community, the center is needed as it will have the extend hours and summer care needed for children and young adults. An afterschool program will build on the young person's strength rather than focus on his/her weaknesses. It will provide an environment that helps young people develop positive relationships with peers. It will provide the youth with challenges that are age appropriate. The Center will also provide enriching and creative activities they can look forward to participating in.
For example: Our church secretary is wanting to plan a trip to a serene, secluded spot about 2 hours away, where she can sit under mosquito netting and drink her coffee while the sun comes up. Literally, I just had a conversation with her saying that she needs a place to hold a Ladies's of Empowerment Retreat. A place where she can hold monthly meetings, provide a menu, take membership dues/donations, host a book club, women's controversial conversations, and panel topics. We also have patrons in line to host annual family reunions, vow renewal and Christmas banquet. Which is proof that the Center is needed because we will have everything needed under one roof. The best thing is I was able to find out all that in a simple 30-minute conversation. There are 5 proven ways to keep girls in school accordingshare.america.gov.,
- Put schools/afterschool programs in rural areas, where girls can get to them.
2. Keep female students safe.
3. Ease the workload at home.
4. Train teachers, leaders, tour guides, administration and peer leaders to beware of stereotypes.
5. Don't let menstruation stop education.

- Pilot: a product, service, or business model that is in the process of being built and tested with a small number of beneficiaries or working to gain traction.
- Growth: A registered 501(c)(3) organization with an established product, service, or business model rolled out in one or, ideally, several communities, which is poised for further growth and has a proven track record with an annual operating budget

Currently our Triple I-G-E Movement consists of about 21 participants. We have about 30-40 summer school candidates (Children and grandchildren). We have one photographer; the goal is to have 3 within a year and employ six within year five. We have two stylists at present, however with a years' time we pray to grow a staff of five. Further, in five years we would like to employ a team of ten to rotate a monthly schedule to accommodate various events. We now have seven committed musicians and ministers of music involved in our sound and technical engineering team. They will also play a part in our music lessons. There is no cap I can place on this field of expertise. All knowledge is welcome. We have two talented Cake vendors, four salon techs. In a year we would like those numbers to double. Currently, we have four wedding decor designers who are able to do wedding hand pieces such as bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. Within a year I would like to double that number and then triple it within five years by training and developing our Triple I-G-E movement participants in their crafts and talents. I also make jewelry. This too will be a part of the Movement participants training and developing. We have two-three wedding coordinators. In a year my goal is to add two more to the vendors list. In five years', we would like to add three more for a total of five. In a year, we would like to add two or three more reliable caterers so that there is a variety to our flavor. Thusly, in the future we would like to utilize several catering vendors in the area to bring inclusion within the community.

Bishop Kenneth L. Robinson is one of our mentors, he is the pastor the Antioch Full Gospel locations in Little Rock and the Owner/Director of Robinson's Mortuaries of West Litle Rock and Little Rock. Bishop is also the leader of a gospel quartet group called Bishop Kenneth Robinson and Chosen. My husband, Elder Tremayne E. Pearson Sr. sings in this group as well. My husband is the Pastor of New Beginnings Baptist Church in N Little Rock. We seek to lead the city to develop a new direction in the areas of Education, Economic Development, and Engagement. We are partnering with Hope credit Union for financing. I have spoken with several local behavioral counselors, agencies, and local schools who also feel the center is needed. The primary steak holders in this business will be the party that has an interest in the center. The way we serve our community can either effect it or be affected by what we do.

We build trust in our community by exhibiting humility and vulnerability. We ask questions with genuine concern and take out time to engage. We also share information to newcomers so that they can be successful in a new environment. There are four elements of trust. Competency, consistency, integrity, and compassion. We will gain community confidence by engaging regularly and not just when WE want something for our benefit. We will show the community that we care and are listening to them and share both their achievements and challenges. We will provide electronic communication, non-electric communication, written communication, and verbal communication. Electronic communication because it proves to be the most modern. Non-electric communication is practical in today's society because people like to put a face with a voice and like to have a hard copy for safe keeping. We will provide informational, instructional, transactional, and persuasive lines of communication via flyers, newsletters, and emails. Lastly, we will engage within our community by word of mouth to meet their needs.

We will impact the community this year by bringing an event center that is diverse, inclusive, fun, and eventful. We want to leave a legacy which will impact our children. The goal is to provide a safe space for children to learn, grow, play and develop their young minds. Another goal will be to sponsor young girls, ages 11-21. Specifically, training and developing them through our girl's,
The Tripple I-G-E Movement. Another goal will be to provide a breakfast, snack, and lunch daily. We plan to achieve this goal by continuing to appeal for grants, opportunistic donations and acquire a Rural Development Loan and Lines of credit. We will impact the community by hosting clothes give aways and feeding the hungry via our non-profit, The Thomas E. Pearson Our Children of the King Youth and Young Adult Center for Events. With a platform such as the PH Balanced Events LLC, we would provide sustainability to an underdeveloped area and support our youth. We will host enticing events that can help put our community on the map and positively impact our local economy. Further, we want to create memorable events that meet the clients objective and leave a lasting impression on the attendees. The focus for the center/venue in the 1st year, we will make a business model that we can realistically live up to. We will be professional and have a clean friendly facility. We need MIT for startup knowledge, guidance and funding. Once we secure these, we would be able run our center efficiently and effectively. We have looked into hiring a Financial Management Group and CPA for managing cash flow and marketing.

Partnering with the Truist Foundation and MIT Sove would add value to my solution because it would afford me the opportunity to run a productive and capable business with guidance.
This would afford me the opportunity to help uplift the youth in our community. We need help with obtaining financial readiness and assistance with business development. Financial health refers to the strength of a company's balance sheets and its ability to operate. I will need help staying within financial boundaries. As a commitment to God, the community, family and self.
We have 3 events on the books that patrons are waiting for the venue to open. The Center practices equity by simply treating people the way we want to be treated. I have signed a contract with a realtor for a piece of property at 11510 Arch St,
Little Rock, AR 72206. The property sits on about 5.8 acres of land. The asking price is $225K.
It has a house at the front of the property which will serve as a Salon/Spa. It will have a Salon/Spa and Barber on site. We would like to add parking and a wraparound porch. Also, it needs a half bath, new fencing, a road with gravel and concrete. The Salon/Spa will be the first phase. The second phase will be tree and brush clearing. The third phase will be the 80 X 120 Steel metal building for hosting events. Fourth phase will be the landscaping of the grounds. Fifth phase will be to add a basketball court, playground and pole lighting for outside events and nature trails.

We are needing partnership with project management, funding, creating a website, trademark, branding, packaging, and scale up. I have obtained a Rural Development 5001 form from
Tim Smith RD, AR USDA.gov. I have spoken with branch manager Kimbely Lee,
Financial Inclusion officer at Hope Credit Union. She referred my business plan to Mark Norwine, the Commercial Lender who has sent me a Hope business loan application, a post-closing memorandum, and a commercial loan checklist. Charity Hallman, SVP of Community and Economic Development is also aware of this new business venture. I have an attorney and board in place. I have filed with Legal Zoom for my 2nd DBA, in the name of PHBalanced Events LLC. I have done research for the prices of materials and products needed. I also have some building plans from various construction companies for ideas for how I would like to design the commercial kitchen and other meeting rooms/classrooms. We have a team who will help with the construction workload; however, we will need help acquiring which materials and permits will best suit this particular project. As a new business, we want to maximize all forms of co-operations and collaborations of development for the shared benefits of people, our planet, prosperity and peace. We hope to gain an opportunity to reach new markets, add value to the area and its community, build relationships, and provide physical and emotional support to an underdeveloped area.
