During the early years, a child’s brain forms the neural pathways that create the building blocks of learning.
AI powered Chatbots can help in imparting basic education and stimulation to children. It will have access to an online resource library in various languages available on a cloud-based platform, which the chatbot will scan and find the best resources for the children to learn. This will be based on interactions between the chatbot and the child.
The repository will be developed by a collaboration of people who wish to contribute to it. The AI will identify the right lesson, and with the help of local volunteers, the lesson can be easily implemented in ways that will stimulate the child.
Young children learn differently. The problem of finding the right skills to develop and then learning those skills is exacerbated by external factors, which will be solved by the chatbot interface.
Early childhood education is the stepping-stone to academic success in middle and high school and beyond and thus sets the core foundation for earning a decent livelihood in later life. However, when the basis of this foundation cracks due to displacement due to internal disorder within a country, the most extreme suffering is experienced by the children, who miss out on the basic building block: a right to education.
A struggling child in a regular school setting may still try to recover by getting help from teachers and parents. But, how do we ensure that vast numbers of children displaced due to unforeseen factors, who have no access to fundamental educational resources, get access to this defining factor for their future?
According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), “The early years of a child’s life are very important for later health and development. “It is in these early years that the child needs a proper nutrition and positive interaction with parents and caregivers to ensure health and cognitive development.
Despite the unfortunate circumstances, the children must still develop basic social skills and have access to learning material based on their needs. This is what companion.ai aims to solve.
Companion.ai aims to serve young children in developing countries who lack access to proper education, such as in places without a developed school system or without a school system at all.
With the platform, a team of dedicated volunteers will help to implement to product in these countries.
The main responsibility of the volunteers will be to educate the parents and/or teachers of the student who will use the platform on why the platform is important and how it will benefit the children. It will include any relevant facts, tied with how the platform functions, to ultimately draw the conclusion that
Another responsibility will be to ensure the parents and children understand how to use the platform. They will provide a complete tutorial to ensure it can be utilized to its maximum effectiveness.
Artificial Intelligence powered Chat bots can help in imparting basic education and stimulation to the early learners. There is a need to develop a universal online resource library in various languages available for use on the Internet or a cloud-based platform, which the chat bot can skim through and which can be used to educate the displaced children. For the youngest children the focus will be on basic language and computing, along with play based learning with the chat bot.
The cloud-based platform will act as a repository for lessons that have been developed by a collaboration of people who wish to contribute to it. The AI will be able to identify the right lesson, and with the help of local volunteers, the lesson can be easily implemented in ways that will stimulate the children either in a group setting, or an individual setting.
The chat bot will also keep track of the lessons the children has undergone, maintaining a streak with incentives. These incentives will be in the form of games the child can play in order to fully
Students learn differently. This problem gets exacerbated in poor countries where there is lack of training for educators to modify their lessons to accommodate all possible learning styles. Additionally, the lack of parent support is an added problem that may lead to further decline in learning opportunities for students requiring extra attention. An AI powered bot is better suited to recognize the learning disability in a student and adjust the instruction level based on the need.
- Reduce barriers to healthy physical, mental, and emotional development for vulnerable populations
- Prepare children for primary school through exploration and early literacy skills

- New application of an existing technology
Companion.ai will revolutionize how children in developing countries learn. It takes a new approach on learning, creating a more personalized for children.
The issues of early childhood development are primarily based on the lack of proper teacher training to deliver personalized lessons to students and the lack of opportunities to develop basic social skills
This solution combines both issues into one solution. The chat bot offers an innovative new way to develop social skills by providing children with a companion, enabling them to develop social skills. It also uses the child’s feedback and its interactions with the child to personalize lessons and understand the child’s weaknesses. Furthermore, the incentive system is a way to ensure the child keeps learning and remains engaged.
The solution addresses the problem with a new approach and that’s what makes it innovative.
The main platform is cloud-based, which will employ deep learning and artificial intelligence to create the chat bot, coupled with cloud storage to give function to the platform and provide it with its full capabilities
- Artificial Intelligence
- Machine Learning
The solution will address the problem because it provides a new approach for education. It addresses the current problems of lack of personalized lessons and introduces new ways such that teachers and parents can help young students learn.

The solution is not currently serving any people, as it is still in development.
Potentially, if funds are granted, it could serve up to hundreds in a few years, focusing primarily in developing countries.
The first goal is to get a working prototype of the platform built. This will include all the functionality required to help make the implementation process as efficient as possible
Then, a team of volunteers needs to be developed that will help implement the solution in various countries. By this time, it is essential that presentations for the users in the countries will be developed
- Heavy amount of funding will be required for implementation of the final product
- Funding will be essential, as it will help provide technology for access and traveling funds for volunteers.
- There will be a major cultural barrier between the volunteers and the parents/children of the place of implementation
- This will be in the form of language and trust, so there needs to be some kind of icebreaker.
- Funding will be addressed in the form of grants from businesses. With enough money raised, there should be enough money for implementation with volunteers, paying for cloud storage, etc.
- Cultural barriers by ensuring a high degree of communication before volunteers arrive such as in the form of letters or communication with the local government and training the volunteers with the language.

The business model will be based on short ads implemented in the platform.
The platform will always be free, but revenue will come in the form of advertisements in the platform.
Solve can help promote the idea to potential partners, which can then help implement the idea. The funding will help with implementation as well.
